Finally got around to getting caught up with this knob trend. Next mod on the way is the gashole

I didn't read the thread but did someone point out that the squiggly part of the cap leash is to help hang it off door?

Dammit I passed on this mod because I assumed it wouldn’t look good with the grey dash. Wrong, now I need to order the new knobs.

That's been mentioned quite a bit, but personally I figured this looks pretty cool and is a cheap, easy mod.

It was pointed out several times. I guess some folks just like to spend money.

That occurred to me too but I figured it would be a dick move to point it out in the thread... plus something about a fool and his money...

Ive been on the fence about this for some time but I use my truck for hauling and towing a lot. Probably not so great for that, huh?

Jumped on the 2nd Gen Gashole bandwagon. The plastic cord end that sticks into the door is loose so whenever hanging it either from the clip, or just free, it tends to fall out about 50% of the time, so the Gashole thing will be a welcome addition.

Also got an OEM roof rack installed.

I did my yearly fluid film treatment, This is my 4th time doing this, and no rust or corrosion to report.
When I bought my truck new in Dec.2014, I sprayed it the day I came home from the dealer with it.
I’m so glad I started this routine.

Put it on jack stands and spin the front tires by hand and see if you can pinpoint where the sound is coming from. My guess is when they had everything apart the brake shield (or whatever its called) got bent and is touching somewhere. That's best case scenario since you can just bend it back.
Otherwise you have warped rotors, or something didn't get seated right when everything was apart.

Installed Bilstein 5100's in the rear!

Had to cut the top bolt off the driver side of the old ones but other than that it went smooth
