I was wondering if anyone knew how to change out all 6 window switches (1 per door -for a 4 door of course- and the other 3 that the driver controls, other than the drivers window) and replace them with automatic switches that go down on 1 click. Or even switch them all out with switches that go up on 1 click and down on 1 click. That's a pretty nice feature on some of the newer cars, if you ask me. Huge thanks to everyone sharing their true Tacoma wisdom with all of us on TW.

I'm interested in this too. However, even though I have a dub cab i only want to add this feature to the front passenger window on both the passenger door switch and drivers door switch

    Yeah I guess you could.

Your issue is that the stock switches are on/off/on momentaries, meaning that the circut is only complete when they are depressed or pulled up. If you found a on/off/on non momentary it would stay in the down or up position. You would need one that fits in the slot but once you found that it would just be a matter of wiring them in and mounting them.

dei makes a module to do this. 1 module is needed per 2 doors, so you would need 2 of them. i think they are about 30-40 bucks a piece and if you have a remote starter/car alarm you can wire them into that so you can also open and close your windows from the remote much like an audi...i miss that feature from my audi
