The resi brackets look worse than the shocks. Can't be all that bad if they still function right.

Sounds like the minivan has a long honey-do list!

I have to bail on this one. I will be moving to LA the next weekend so I can't risk breaking my truck the weekend before I have to put 2.8k miles on it.

I've been lurking for a while, trying to figure out if I'm in. You guys seem hardcore and I don't want to mess my stuff up on hard sections. haha.

I have a mostly stock DCLB and have been on the Mountain Springs section. 31" Michelin LTXs (not aggressive), 5100s, AAL....that's about all.

Are there bypasses for hard stuff? Think I'd be good to go as is?

 We aren't hardcore at all. We'd get made fun of on IG if we posted everything we think we do that's "cool".

The meet will most likely be a much more tame wheeling event since we'll have a varying amount of builds.

That's sort of what I figured, because I saw some 3rd gens in there.

Are you starting Thursday morning or evening?

If I don't meet you guys on Thursday is there a potential to meet up on Friday evening?

Josh aka @Jibbs (inferno new gen) has already broken one tail light, side mirror, and lost his chin strap in a mud hole.

I'm scratched all over to hell and back, have a permanent dent in my passenger rocker and lower door.

The good thing about this group of guys, they'll help fix it if it breaks, but they'll also say, you may not want to go on this trail if it exceeds the abilities of your vehicle.
My rig has a gouge on a wheel, the rock slider filler plate is bulged in a spot, and some light pinstriping. (haven't experienced off roading at RRG yet. )

The way most of the meets go or so I've heard, you show up when you can. We all have busy work schedules, etc. Make it to the location for the base camp when you can, we'll end up there sometime as well. We typically depart from there and do some different rides. It isn't set in stone or scheduled. Leave when you need to. Very casual for the most part.

None of those things happened at RRG and all of them were just because I was off doing something stupid. Nobody will be pressured to do anything they don't want to on a meet we're at. 80% of our rides are usually enjoying scenery

The little wil magnetic mounts work alright, but there are definitely better options.

    Scratches, dents, lots of squeaks.
The gorge is pinstripe city. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. As far as broken shit and body damage. Much less likely.

Yea I have some light pinstripes from last time I was down there. I also got a good size dent behind my rear cab doors from turning into a tree...damn long wheel base of the Long Bed. I'm most worried about bigger dents, or scratches down to bare metal....but aren't we all.

@dirty deeds Was wondering if you used CBs, GMRS, or MURS. I'm looking at an Anytone Smart Radio, with a 2, 3, or 4' firestik. Have any experience with one? Heard they're pretty good.

    Pinstripes don’t count.

Gouged wheels, dents, bent spindle - replaced by gussetted spindles, destroyed stock skid plates, there will be more...

2 years. Not even to the first rebuild yet

Twinsies! I've since added a rather large dent to my bed side....ironically at the gorge..
