Just curious, for your table surface on the tailgate, is that attached? I definitely like the idea, considering how much time I spend cooking on the tailgate.

yeah i was getting tired of it not being a completely flat surface to cook / kneel / sit on so i just stained and sealed some .19" ply and literally attached it with heavy duty double sided tape. I was going to get fancy and use the bolts from the tailgate or longer ones and go through the top into the factory holes, but then i thought F that. Honestly the tape has held up so well that im a little worried about when i want to remove it to re-do it.. but ill deal with that when the time comes.

That's why I love my mobtown smooth reinforcement. It replaces the plastic making the tailgate more sturdy. What's unfortunate is they don't offer it for third gen anymore because there wasn't enough interest.

The flat plate works on 2nd and 3rd gens. But if you want a cap on the 3rd gen you have to do the one piece unit with the ribs.

Tembo Tusk slide is great, I have had others and this one is very well built. It works great for my large ARB fridge. It slides easily and also locks out so if you are on uneven terrain......

My canopy is set up for me to go camping. But my dogs use it more often than I do.
