Can't really help but have a tip .. Here before I got Full View Sat and then Mini Sat etc I wanted to get a good antennae and I remembered channel master as a good unit install on a tri tower and good to go . Before I did I went around to neighbors who I saw had antennae's. Where I lived at the time was on the east side of the state and right across my back yard to the west ran High Tension Power lines , want to guess which side of the lines all the stations are located.. Yep on the west side of those lines. Most every one who I talked to said they could get a few channels but none with out fuzz . So check out what is around you before you invest if you can. When I talked to an installer he felt if we got high enough it might be ok but then I would have to get approval cause of the farm fields and air plane spraying etc.

I still have an old Kenwood TS-140 HF rig. 3 element yagi that's horizontal and an Antron 99 omni.
    Pushes 110w on SSB.
Never got my ticket, but used to belong to a couple bootleg groups and ran on a lot of bootleg frequencies.
Got my QSL's in a box somewhere with over 140 countries, islands and territories confirmed.
Haven't used it in years, but i fire it up once in a while. Everything still works.
Mebbe I'll work on getting my ticket.

Ha yeah I could retire in 2 more years. But going 5 more my retirement income almost doubles. Of course the retired military pay is the same, well COLA -1%.

I already know Medicare sucks. It is run by the government... ObamaCare was the reason for a lot of hospitals around the country closing their doors and still are at least one a month, in large part due to the new payment model for Medicare. They couldn't keep the lights on and most places that did had to cut cost by at least 20%.

Tricare for life helps, and where I work now will be provided gap insurance for Medicare. But everyone is wanting to push that carrot out there just a little further and wouldn't surprise me if by the time I get to 65 it will be 67 for even Medicare. Still punching out then though. I hope.
