    Solo comes before Rogue One

I hope to see Solo in the next week. I have less than stellar expectations, I don't think they picked the right actor for Han. My general opinion on Disney's Star Wars is that: yeah they've kinda dicked it up, but it's better than no new Star Wars, and there are some good things in them, and gives us something to talk about with other SW fans. While they have strayed far off the path of the comics cannon developed for many years, more content is good

I thought it was a decent action movie. It taking place in the SW universe is automatically points for me. I was expecting a lot of action/smuggling/heist/flying type stuff. It is Has Solo. Going into it I was expecting to see how Han Solo got his stuff, ie how he got the Millennium Falcon from Lando, Kessel Run, becoming buddies with Chewy etc. In that sense, it was a great movie! In the same way you know in Episode III Anakin has to become Darth Vader and has a epic battle with Obi-Wan, you know it happened, just how.

You’re right they have made the story line pretty complexed. The newer movies are more action packed and cool visuals, but if you haven’t seen and understand the originals it’s kinda hard to follow

All the politics in episodes 1-3 made those retarded and hard to follow. My ex and I went through all of them, it was basically me spending 6 hours just explaining wtf was going on

Yes you’re right thank you. And yeah after last Jedi I go into these new Star Wars movies with no expectations so I’m not severely disappointed. Gota see solo a few more times but first impressions I thought it was good, filled in a lot of spaces

Completely agree. I like how it shows us about Han and how he gets the Falcon and meets chewie and stuff like that. Real curious on the Darth Maul like character....

Darth Maul survived being cut in half. He grabbed a vent and crawled himself into a garbage can or some shit, ate rats, his brother ended up rescuing him, he got some new legs (Lieutenant Dan!) and proceeded to fuck shit up.

Oh ok ya I never watched the clone cartoon series. Watched all the movie, played all the games, and had the LEGO’s but haven’t watched the clone wars. Is it good?

    My 2 sons watched it.

I tried to watch it with them some but it bored me.

Then again, while I was a fan of the original Star Wars movies (EXCEPTING the Lucas remakes), I disliked episodes 1-3 and all the new ones.

Rogue One was the best of the new ones to me.

Force Awakens left me with an intense dislike for JJ Abrams movies after he had already ruined Star Trek and now injected his stench into Star Wars.

I liked rogue One too. I thought force awakens was pretty cool then last Jedi just broke my heart. Episode 9 had better be the greatest Star Wars in history to bring the series back

Simply Rogue 1 is the story of how the Rogue Squadron came to be. In the Star Was universe The Rouge Squadron is the elite fighting squadron with the best pilots.

The movie rogue one was about how the rebels received the Death Star plans and the knowledge of how to destroy it. It leads directly into A New Hope

I wonder if the fans still show up in full Star Wars regalia like they used to.

I was in NYC when Attack of the Clones premiered and I saw these guys.

    I missed Triumph though.

If you haven't seen this, it's a great waste of 10 minutes of your life.

No, I haven't seen Solo yet.

I'll likely wait until it is streaming before I see it.

I'll save you a BUNCH of time and disappointment.

Beyond the original trilogy, the ONLY other good Star wars movie is "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". It's kind of a prequel to the original trilogy, and it's actually REALLY good.

The other 48 Star Wars movies are terrible.

    Fanboys can flame away.
