Thank you! I don't follow the thread religiously, I thought the updates would be on page 1 as usual. I'm concentrating more on trying to get the dealer to fix my truck's issues.

    Not much, yet.
@OVTune I emailed you about a week ago requesting help pulling the USB serial number. I pm'd you as well. There's no phone number listed on your website so trying other methods to get a response. Thanks in advance.

Don’t you work at a Toyota dealership? Have the parts guy look them up.

    https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...7_6718371/CRANKSHAFT--PISTON/526420-1301.html

    https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...7_6718389/CRANKSHAFT--PISTON/674470-1301.html

They do share the same crank. According to the inter web, I’d still like to see what Toyota parts counter computer says. I would however still say that the weight of the fly wheel/clutch or possible larger torque converter in the Tacoma is a contributing factor.

It's your theory and to be honest I really don't want to bother the busy parts guy on something I don't believe.

This is exactly my experience and I have been driving it for a year. Sometimes I shift smooth but I’m always thinking about it and clunking away. I love my truck but as soon as I can get the funds I will prob get the tune.... as long as I can hide it from the wife;).. who also drives stick... so she will probably find out..damn.

I could tell her. She just doesn’t necessarily need to know the price tag. It will happen.

Just tell her you paid a couple hundred bucks for it...

You don't have to mention the other 6 hundred

I have been on the new 1.04 since it's release and so far it's been a great improvement in my daily drive of a 1 mile commute and short errands around town. Heading out shortly for the first real road trip on 1.04. 168 miles round trip, flatland into rolling hills and then the mountains. Excited to see what kind of mileage I get, mileage around town has improved but it may be the switch to summer blend as well....

Those of you that have been running this OV tune in your manual truck, what have your MPG's been looking like?

Is there a clear increase or decrease, or running roughly the same as the stock Toyota tune?
