Any thoughts on adding tule rails to a hardshell tent? I assume I could do it the same way I did the canopy on my taco but the fiberglass seems a lot thinner.

Is this just tents or are accessories on sale too? I could use some boot bags.

I am now part of this family I guess. I installed my Tepui Autana Ruggedized RTT last weekend. It's time to go camping again, but I think my GF is more excited than I am about using this new tent.

In the near future, we will be doing a road trip to British Columbia and explore some back country.

That color is nice, really digging it myself! In this picture the tent looks perfect. My summit not so much. Still like my tent though.

Yea I know! Good color and much better than the tan to me... but color does not mean much to build quality, so may end up going with tepui in the end for tent if and when I ever decide to get one as I have always like the green color they have and from what I have read on here, rarely a bad choice for quality.

When I was shopping I researched both Tepui and CVT. Personally I think they are both equal in build quality and customer service, one couldn't go wrong with either. . For me it came down to the best value $$$ wise at the time and CVT worked for me, no regrets.
If you're seriously considering Tupui and have an REI near you I would look into purchasing from them. REI has like a 20% special and it can be delivered free to the store for PU.

Yellowstone road trip in full effect!
Airing out my Kukenam Ruggedized 3.
Found some larvae, unpleasant material smells, and that I mounted it to open on wrong side  ARB 2.0 awning traveled well overhung on PrInSu rails.
Nothing a brush, 1/2 inch socket, and some maneuvering couldn’t fix.
Overall the ride was good, although I found myself getting whipped around in 25 mph winds with my taller bed rack. And power was lacking in a headwind uphill. Otherwise no complaints. Thank you to @Drainbung for the muffler clamp suggestion. And to everybody here on this thread has been very helpful.
Shout out to the 2 coolest trucks so far... one in Pasadena, CA the other in South Salt Lake City, UT

To me your Kukenam is mounted on the "right" side. It's been my preference and has worked well for me. So... which direction does yours fold out?

Now it folds out passenger side as I intended. Just like the picture of it opened. Unfortunately I spaced and mounted it opposite before I left L.A. to SLC.

My thought was that it could hopefully counter balance my weight and gas tank weight. Also, this orientation frees up access to driver side door. I mounted my awning on the same side so I’ll have shelter before entering tent in the rain. Annex would not work with the height of my rack so this was the second best option.

Sounds about right. And if you ever need to just pull over on the side of the trail to camp the tent is opening on the opposite side of the road.
