I'm new to all this lifting stuff but I've done a lot of research about different type of lifts and 6 inches seem to caught my attention.:benchpress:
Anyways, Rough Country finally came out with 6 inch lift for 1st gen Tacos and YES I know the cons of the drop bracket lifts:lalala:. But help me out here:help:. Rough country states that the recommend wheel/tire size with this lift is 305/70r17 with 5 inch backspacing. I currently have 15x8 wheels and not sure what my backspacing is but I know its less than 5 inches. I plan on putting 33's on my wheels. Tell me why wouldn't a 33x12.50r15 set up work with this lift?

    Thanks in advance!!!

Idk much but if you have less bs the wheel will push out more. Ruff country might say 5” so that it keeps the wheels tucked up. Also 33” wheels will look pretty small on that lift, judging By how 33s look just right on a 2” lift

I have no clue maybe so that it can easily be used in states with strict wheel laws. Also if they suggest 17” rims it might be for a reason. Your best bet is to go and ask them. Their website has a live chat where they can answer your questions

Call em up. Just be prepared to spend some dough on some new wheels and tires in case you need to. Seems like you could go pretty big with that size kit. IMO, of your gonna spend the money on that kit may as well do it right and get the right size tires and wheels. :spending:
