People lose all common sense on long weekends. My commute home was 10 quicker since I left at 12:15 :D

Mowed my lawn and cleaned out the garage this afternoon. Tomorrow morning I’ll be dropping my wife off at the airport and then starting the home garage gym build

daggum flat-landers...I'm in the same boat. Living in the NH lakes region and so close to the mountains I lost count of all the trailers, campers, UTVs, ATVs, boats, jet skis, and RVs coming north and I only live about 15 mins down the highway from work.

Trans cooler upgrade did great. Only took 1.5 hrs to get to the cape. Averaged somewhere between 10-12 mpg. Guest temp I saw for a split second was 213. Both engine and trans stayed mostly between 190 to 203. Hottest trans ever got last year was 240 in bumper to bumper on a hill.

Morning all. I have to clean up the Falcon today - daughter's junior prom is this evening and sha asked to be dropped off in it. I also have to look at a truck for her this afternoon - yes, she wants a pickup. Sorry, but I can't afford a Tacoma. It's a Dakota. My truck desperately needs a wash & wax as well...

I looked at one. Regular cab, stick. Was 10k. The dodge is asking 4,500. It's a vehicle to go to & from high school and work. I'm trying to stay under 4K.

I looked at a few dakotas for my foreman. I guess the trouble spots for rust on the body are inside the door jams and the just under the doors. But from what I’ve heard they were pretty reliable trucks

Someone bought my old truck, or the dealer got sick of sitting on it and sent it to auction. It disappeared from their website.

They had it listed at $16k for a 2011 with about 140,000 miles on it, which I think is high. I doubt someone paid any more than $14,500 for it.

Wonder if I'll see it driving around anywhere.

Got the bed mat and steering wheel installed today. The air bag fought me a little coming out but, overall, it was a very simple swap! I had to lay the bed mat in the sun for hours with boards on it to get it to even attempt to lay flat. It’s secured to the truck now and fits really nice. Initial impressions, I like it but am a little curious to see how well it holds up under minor abuse. I don’t see it being anywhere near as durable as a rubber mat but it does have other advantages.

I want a bed mat for mine--a rubber one like the Tacoma had. It was one of the best purchases for the last truck because it had a slick bed. I ordered this truck with a drop-in liner so it's also pretty slick. But, I read reviews on the Dee Zee one saying it doesn't fit right with a drop in bedliner. Not sure about the OEM one.

Bugs were out in force from New York to Michigan. Side note a stock 4Runner actually gets 23mpg on the highway even though the sticker says 20.

I’m not sure how long your bed is, but I had one of the 3/4” Tractor Supply rubber mats in the F150 on top of the factory drop in and it’s worked great. I think the mat was 4’x6’ so I had to trim a little off the end since I had the 5.5’ bed.

Picked this up to try this weekend. It has a good flavor and smell as you bring it up to taste.

It's a 6-1/2 ft bed, so 4x6 would leave some space on the sides, back, and front, but I may go that route if I can't find an alternative.
