i hate planning stuff. I just throw a bunch of stuff in my truck and go.

Its too early for me to form functional sentences. But Im still planning on convoying. Just when everyone is splitting off to go home, Ill just continue. I want to make it to Seattle and Oregon, and maybe Nor Cal.

Also like my trip last summer, it sucks when its just me. Because I go see what I want to see, eat somewhere, and then continue. Most of the time its just me driving around aimlessly. Or going to one destination, and then doing that activity, and then moving on. Sometimes it sucks without people accompanying you. Or at least company.

Wish I had more vacation time from work, I'd join you. Until July 2020 I only get 2 weeks per year. Then 3 weeks. One of my weeks this year is a trip to windrock in Tennessee

the convoy is good as a group.. maybe 5-7. But I agree, breaking to smaller groups is better. Less hectic.

Less people to try and make decisions.. I dislike bigger groups. 3 or 4 total is good

whats awesome about my schedule, is that if I take off 7 working days, it translates to 2 weeks of off days. So to take off 4 weeks, I only take off 14 working days. Which is 168 hours of working days, out of my maximum of 248 hours to take off.

    but 1 person sucks.

I kind of ended my trip early the last time. Got bored of driving around by myself.

I like "overland" stuff more than rocks. Another reason as to why Im limiting myself from going to Rausch as much

I'm planning on doing this exact thing because I've got nothing but time at this point in my life. I definitely wanna see Wyoming, parts of Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Norcal, parts of Nevada. Ill have to condense it all and figure something out but if we've got the same ideas in mind, could partner up if you don't wanna go it solo.

Is this still a plan/on the books for 2019? Im thinking about it more and more. Going to take a month off, and drive out. Would be better if someone to come with.

Plus I need to request it off first, so no one else gets the time off before I do.

That's what I plan on doing, my biggest issue is finances lol, so I don't have a solid idea just yet
