Repurposed a piece of molle made for the interior (would not fit on the driver side center counsel in my TRD Pro). Had to cut it a bit to fit in the space. Now I have a place for a flashlight and box cutter in the back (among a couple other things).

Weekend plans... just waiting on the sound deadener to come tomorrow. The amp, LOC, and component set were open box from Crutchfiled and look perfect. Will do a small 10" sub eventually as well.

Yup, started right up like nothing changed. I haven't checked but others claim it still works if the battery died in the key fob and you hold the fob up to the start button, then press to start. Just like the original does.

Location varies, but based in Edmonton, Alberta.
    Vehicle:
    2016 Black Tacoma Limited
Tuff Country 3" lift, BFG Baja Champion 285/70/R17, Unknown Nerf Bars, Diamond Back Tonneau, 800W internal cab mounted inverter, VHF radio, We-Boost 4GX, Ram Mount No-Drill Laptop Mount, Zac of All Trades rail mounts (FX and Hi-Lift), Weathertec floor mats, BLACKVUE 590 dash cam, @Calirasiedled Bed Accessory Mount, Sound deadening

Added A Wilson Drive 4GX-OTR to my truck. It's hidden mounted under the Qi charger, ignition on wiring and always on. I sometimes work in the middle of nowhere with limited coverage and the drives to these areas often go through areas with limited coverage. I got the same antenna with mine. I had issues right off the bat with vibration, especially if the road was muddy and the antenna got a bit dirty. You could see it shake - so good add on the spring.

The guys I used to help with the install of my VHF Road radio (another tool I need for working on private roads) replaced my "thermos on a stick" antenna with the one here. No vibration. No snide remarks and a much cleaner look. We had to run an entirely new cable to the booster as it was a different mounting base. No noticeable difference in performance over the two.

One thing they did mention is to take your phone/device off of LTE to 3G. Lots of people working out here have boosters and are competing for the best quality. Since doing that, I got much better coverage at 3G than guys sitting in my truck with LTE. No measurements, anecdotal. There are also lots of sites, especially on the drilling side, that require you to have a power switch and be able to shut the booster off. Apparently they get so many guys running boosters that it overloads the remote towers and they shut down. Tell a rig manager that his data stream to the mothership is down and you can watch a grown man's head explode. I may add a switch to the power feed.

Question... what mounts are those? I like those better than the ones that I have...

The passenger side is from Cali raised, it’s a little flimsy and shakes a bit; the drivers side is from relentless fan, and is significantly more sturdy. I plan on replacing the passenger side with the relentless one down the road. Although, the Cali raised one sticks out a little more to the side which I do like.

Used it for some yard work and got just a little mud on the tires. Can't wait to get rid of these firestones!
