Because I’m bored and trying to stay off my knee, I googled recombinant ... I’m reminded that I need to keep things “boxes on airplanes” simple.

    Good Afternoon Peeps!
Pretty much a washout today. Things are quite.

    244B7866-AFE9-4C2D-AB2D-F868611DC9AD.jpg

A few weeks back I changed the oil and filter on the Taco for the first time and struggled getting the aluminum filter cap to thread in without pinching the O-Ring. After studying a picture of the Filter cap I realized I had the O-ring in the wrong location :anonymous:
    Lol!
I went ahead and switched out the Factory plastic cap with the Aluminum one with a new filter and 0.3 quarts (9.6 oz) of 0w20 synthetic Toyota Motor Oil. I pre filled the Filter cap about 3/4 full before installation. I also had the TRD oil filler neck cap cracked open to relieve any added pressure at start up from just changing the Filter. I hope y’all are enjoying the Day.

    Good Afternoon All.
Just came into house after being outside all day. Got an early start in garden before it got too warm.
Wife called, she's coming home tomorrow.
Got email from doctor with results from yesterday's CT scan. I Google the big words. Points to a kidney problem. But I am not a doctor. Dr.wants me to have an ultrasound, can't get in until June 7.

@MQQSE good luck with your knee

How about 48 forward and 8 reverse gears in a 3rd gen , This is Big Mike who's on TW

    Yes those are 40" tires on a 3rd gen , axles are 5.29's with ARB's front /rear

Listen to the rpm in 1rst and also in Reverse !!

Liked the T4R they let me use when my truck was waiting for a frame. Felt bigger than a Taco but not Tundra big. Also had some nice bells and whistles:thumbsup:

After my OHS the Dr gave me a open prescription for OxyContin I only took two out of the first bottle. Nuff! Done! Just used Tylenol. Getting ahead of the pain was key for me.
Wife started complaining about her knee. Getting better she said.

Hope the knee gets better soon.

That's a bit of rain! BTW, plug in your phone...

I hope all goes well with the additional tests and there isn't anything too serious going on.

Hi Dan, a little over a year ago A CT picked A cyst and a small mass on my left kidney. They then ordered a MRI with and without contrast. It showed that I have two cysts and was told not to worry, and they are checking it every six months. Hope your ok bud :fingerscrossed:

Well, I looked at the Dakota. Pretty clean for a 2004. Frame is good, cab mounts are very clean. Headliner is droopy at the windshield, needs a battery, and oil pressure sender - gauge is a 0. Engine runs fine, no noises at all - the senders are known to go bad on them. Broken left tail light and a dent above it from backing into a tree limb in the owners driveway. Tires are good as well, front end redone about 40k miles ago. Kids getting her hair done so she wasn't able to look at it. The owner will drop it off tomorrow for her to see. He'll take 4K for it. If she likes it, it's sold.

    Thanks Rob.
    Glad she’s feeling better.

Curious, what kind of MPG averages are you seeing in the Tundra?
