Since voodoo isn’t making these for long beds anymore, does anybody recommend a similar product/way to have the GFC installed without using the stock plastic bed rails? I wonder if running the GFC on the bare metail bed rails would work? Bummed they discontinued the long bed ones :(

I'm tempted to order their 16+ shortbed with the factory tonneau cover cut out :( perhaps they will release an aluminum version?

Nailed that one on the head! Aeropress or pour over for the win! We are also big fans of the espresso flair for off grid espresso making.

Well it’s 0400 and I’m about to start my first trip of the season without my GFC.... come on guys crank them out!!!

I ended up mounting my fridge and slide in the back seat for now since it’s gonna rain. Side note we will see just how good Decked drawers are (95% of my gear is in them for this trip)

Safe travels to anyone else turning out for the holiday!

Or, if you have the Areopress, how about trying the new Fellow Prismo and the Aropress together?! I just want someone to try it and give real feedback.

It’s ok. It doesn’t make “real” espresso. It does allow you to do a very strong “upside down” method without turning the aeropress and making a mess. It is a cool gadget for the price, just don’t expect espresso. Don’t want to hijack this thread with coffee mumbo jumbo though.... back to GFC.

    Agreed.
SO, when is somebody In the San Antonio area going to get a GFC. I can't afford one at this point, but I love to dream.
And talking about getting back to this GFC thread! WHERE ARE ALL OF YOUR GFC PICTURES!!

Haven't gotten an update in a while, but hoping I'll be posting pictures fairly soon myself.

Wish mine was on that trailer to CO too.

My guess is they have not even built out a first gen one yet. I am very curious how they plan to mount it.

Wish I had the free cash to throw at this, and I’d get a second order in to maybe speed things up.

    Loud as hell URD exhaust!
This tent looks like many engineering hours spent to come up with a solid design. The $5K price tag seems a little surprising at first glance. But essentially you are getting an RTT and a canopy in one compact light weight package. Wish I had the $5K to pick one up.

    Good job guys!

I had just standard, aluminum topper clamps on my setup.

    Here's a picture of mine.

    IMAG0603.jpg
The clamp would either have to be special made for the tube, or make a flat spot for the clamp to sit. I'm still not sure how well that would hold. I would rather just bolt the thing down, as I couldn't care less about drilling more holes in my truck.

Also curious how they'll make the seal work on the narrow rails.
