This is where I'd add a fishing pole to my Captain Morgan picture, but I'm far too intoxicated for that right now. I did tell LeeM than I thought I'd do some fishing but I forgot my pole, to which he replied it looked like I forgot my boat as well...

Not up for it tomorrow since the OGT is still wounded and waiting on parts, but there is this coming up...

Although, with all the rain we're getting, our backup plan is to hit ONF if Richloam is too wet for anything but a boat or a swamp buggy.

So I'm in the market for tires and have no clue which brand to go with. I kinda like the Mickey Thompson's mtz I currently have but am also looking at other possibilities like duratracs or toyo mts. What do you guys think?

I just got the Wildpeak at3w's and really like them so far. I did not get the LT version b/c I daily drive it and didn't want to take the hit in MPG's plus I am not lifted...YET BUT the non-trail rated version was surprisingly more aggeresive than I though they would be. I got 265/70/17 to fit my stock sport wheels. The part I really liked was I paid $519 for all four shipped to my door w/ 2day shipping from Amazon. You are prob. looking for a LT rated tire but I feel the Falken's are worth a look.

Toyos or Nittos. Unless you have a surplus of cash and then I would HIGHLY recommend Interco Trxus MTs.

    https://www.intercotire.com/tire/102

They ride great, but like all Intercos if you put a lot of miles on your truck they tend to wear fast, but since your truck is pretty light they'll last longer.

    F250-11.jpg

Had them on my old F250. I put a total of about 10k miles on them on a 7500 lb truck and they were almost down to the wear bars, but they were on the truck for 9 years before they dry rotted and started to separate, so I can't give much better a testimony than that, since regular radials are only made to last 4 years before they rot.

Read my edit. Mine were on a 7500lb truck (without the topper). You're probably about half that so you'll get a lot more mileage out of them than I did.

Kenny Toyos and Nittos are great tires. They are heavy as fuck. The firestones MT’s are lighter than either mention before. I was getting the same mpg with the nittos in 265 that I got with the 285 Firestones. The Firestone is a quieter tire on the highway. All Three seem to wear really well.

Also they give an amazingly smooth ride. As good as a street tire. I'd have them on the T4R if I could afford them. They are a little pricey though.
