Me either on that one :). Thanks, hopefully it will help others install their own SSO themselves.

You can order it without the bull bar.

Thanks for the awesome write-up... you inspired me and I've ordered my slimline bumper. I'll be chopping away in 6-8 weeks.

Anyone know if the bull bar option interferes with he TSS sensor?

I really like these bumpers but what happens if you get in an accident? Could you get more seriously hurt without the front bumpers you removed?

Well, logic dictates that since you're removing the crash bar and plastic "cushions" , more of the inertia generated from a front end collision will transfer to the rest of your vehicle and occupants. Also, it's a heavy peace of steel traveling at X speed towards the oncoming object sooooo unless that object is also plate steel, expect that object to feel greater effects of the collection.

In short. Yes, depending on what you impact

Yeah, I read thru this one too lol.
But that's bull bar is definitely alot higher than the c4 and all photos I've seen are not dead on, so it's hard to tell.

Say someone was seiously injured. Could you be sued for something like that?

Not likely... think about police cars with push bars, buses with bike racks, SUVs with bull bars, jeeps with aftermarket bumpers and winches, and the countless brush guards on trucks. As letigeous as people are, I dont think there's much president of people being sued over items like these. If there was, the aftermarket market wouldn't exist.

So I have this bumper as well! Awesome write up, definitely gonna help me! And got a decently good deal on the Platinum version of the same winch. I do not desire to cut the brace, as you did (though great idea). Where would be a good location or does anyone have a recommendation from their own experience of remounting the solenoid with this bumper? (I purchased the relocation kit for this winch as well, so I have all the pieces I needed).

20180805_174406_HDR~01.jpg I used your guide for my install. Just have to figure out how to do the solenoid box for the winch since it won't fit, and I really don't want to cut anything if I don't have to .

As a fellow "install perfectionist" and "write-up nerd" I can really appreciate the clear photos and attention to detail you put into this and many of your other write-ups. Just wanted to say keep up the good work, your efforts I'm sure help a lot of dudes that are on the fence about doing these kinds of things in their driveway. You are an asset to the community.

Hell of a write up, it must of taken as much time as the build. If I was to do any kind of bumper mod this would be the one. LOVE IT great job. Is there a fit for a license plate?
