    Need some Tacomaworld help:

I’m running 265 75r16, Front Toyota TRD PRO spec Bilstein 6112 w/ Total Chaos bushing mount uniballs.

    Here is before:

    80645B44-B806-43E9-872F-ECB5C17995ED.jpg

    And After:

    C935C031-14F2-4D69-B55F-87DC15B5388E.jpg

I’ve got a bit of rubbing I think from the drivers side tire now that I didn’t have before. Comments on this alignment?

Camber and toe I think seem reasonable but I would have preferred they match the caster a bit better even if it meant getting the drivers caster up to 3.2 and out of spec to match the passenger. Was told they couldn’t get the passenger side back to within range because my LCA bushings probably need to be done (not sure if true or not).

    Thanks @MaverickTRD & @05TacoRunner

It’s been hard to judge. The previous alignment I had done was old school, non computerized and the old guy didn’t give me any values of where I was at initially except to tell me I was at about +2 caster when he was done with it.

At Firestone here, they didn’t tell me where my baseline was at in the beginning before they got it to 2.7 and 3.2 and I end up finding out I was sitting at 4.4 and 4.8 initially once I got the printout at the end. After a short test drive and finding some rubbing that wasn’t there before the alignment, I’m getting them to try and match both sides at +4 caster.

Ok so here is the second alignment today. They got the caster pretty close at 4.5 & 4.3, a little worse on camber (-.8 & -.7) but even at least and pretty even toe at .07 & .06.

I thought after I installed the UCA’s my alignment was all screwed up because there was appreciably more resistance to turning but it kind of makes sense now after reading JBerry’s comment.

I’ll run this alignment for a while and see how it goes.

Another good range trip but noticed my stash of factory 45acp is way lower than needed.
Where do you guys get your factory ammo for cheap? Wideners? Ammo to go?

+1... I guess my frame of reference is street/track cars but some added front camber is hardly a bad thing.

I wouldn't be worried about -.7 and -.8 one bit. Anything over -1 I would look at maybe turning down a little.

Keep in mind that the Tacoma IFS is actually pretty nice compared to McPherson struts, we get no camber gain through travel.

Anyways this is gonna turn into another write up so I will just leave it at "your alignment looks good."
