I had an 800T chiller at another place. After being exposed to those harmonics, even with hearing protection, my jawbone felt like it had arthritis after 12hrs.

 

Yeah, I hear ya (kinda).

15 or so years of semiconductor cleanroom work I'm sure didn't help either. You don't really realize how loud that is when you're around it all the time.

Thankfully now I only work in the fabs for really short periods of time.

 

I've got one of those db sound tool apps. Don't know how accurate it is but ballpark 106-112db's seem about right where my noisiest room is.

 

I need to get one of those, just for curiosity's sake. I think OSHA says 84db is the max as far as safety goes.

I made the mistake of reporting noise level in a new area once as maybe being too high, that's about the time my manager (then) started making my life extra miserable.

 

Hmm. Usually the 50+ kids are up by now.

Everyone must be hung over?

Plain ol' OT here. This would be hour 46 of this 48 hour work week.

The good news though is that they'll be paying me 8 hours of straight time Monday to stay home...

On for one then it’s our team’s holiday off tomorrow night. Gonna go check out a 14 crewmax sr5 with trd off road pkg on Tuesday. Cpo with 40k for $30,095 sounds a little too good to be true...
Anything specific to look for or worry about in these?

Definitely seems on the low side price wise. Look for the cam tower seal leak. Other than that just general used truck items to look for which I’m sure you know

 

2 wheel drive?

 

Do they make 2wd trucks with the TRD off road package?

 

Dafuk if I know. Around here you can't give away a 2 wheel drive truck.
