So far today, I've been a busser, a server, a life guard, a chef, a food and beverage manager, a bartender, a golf coach, a receptionist, a bookkeeper, and a truck driver.

One day I hope to do MY job.

Home. Did entire DBBB loop with 5 Jeeps. Showed em a thing or three! Did Toyota proud. We had a couple T4Rs at the start, but they dropped out after a few hours.

Flat worn out tired. Need sleep after a couple chilly beers

DBBB full loop has a BUNCH of paved or gravel sections. Full loop goes faster than I would have expected. Couple of angry natives along the way too. Got chased by a loonie on a golf cart at one point.

    Damage report;

Some serious pin striping...especially on right side. Starts just behind headlight and runs to middle of bed side. May not buff out:itllbuffout:

Rock rash on 2 wheels. Can touch up.

Took1/2 a can of paint to cover bare metal on sliders. :mudding:

Glad I had skids. Spent some time introducing them to RRG rock formations.

    Nothing bent. Nothing broke.

98% mud free after a couple hours at the car wash.

Hardest this truck was ever wheeled.. Tough pace we kept. 2 stops for stuck Jeeps. 1 short lunch break. Never slowed up otherwise.

NOW it rains. Monsoon season this morning.

We saw a few rain drops for about 10 minutes yesterday. Dark clouds all around us. Rain/thunder & lightning galore from 4 am until just a few minutes ago.

Did a firepit last night around 10. Watched a nice lighting show well north of us. No thunder....so it was pretty far away.

By the time we got home, washed the truck, ate , and got a shower, I was trashed. Went straight to bed. Slept like a log!

    Much fun day.

    Now @ work. That blows.

Come on 2 PM. I'm ready for a nap. Plan on watching end of Indy 500 and checking eye lids for leaks.

Must have had fun yesterday. I'm still finding mud in places it doesn't ordinarily get. (Like the back of the passengers seat, Inside of clove compartment door, etc....)

Anyone who knows me will tell you I'm OCD about cleaning up my truck once it's off the trail. Mud doesn't usually see the sun come up the next day. I haven't even opened the hood yet. That will be traumatic.

I HATE working on muddy, dirty, greasy stuff. Must be clean. 24 hours is the drop dead limit.
