I did this for a buddy of mine last year you can use a point to point set up from
    https://www.ubnt.com

Directional antena house to garage and garage to wireless AP cost less then 200 Soo a brake job and maybe some tire rotations. Give me a holler I can explain it or go on youtube you will find videos explaining it.

Nothing wrong with a good day's work, but here in the desert most people sweat....a lot. And all the old timers I see are all bark, wrinkled and stooped. I think sweating is just an added distraction.

Good morning folks. Somewhere this week I lost a day. I thought yesterday was Friday now come to find out today is Sunday. If anyone finds Saturday, let me know so I can add it back for next weekend...definitely taking Tue thru Thur off this week (and Fri, Sat and Sun by default).

    It’s from Troegs Brewery

    https://troegs.com/

Ifen you want to “import” something special to MN pick up some Mad Elf, it’s a strong ale brewed with cherries that only comes around Nov-Dec. You can age it as well it will continue to ferment in the bottle, the oldest I’ve had was 4yrs, pairs well with a Fuente.

The other is from Weyerbacher, the Merry Monks is a Belgian tripel

    Morning Everyone !!! :hattip:

Somehow yesterday I twisted my bad knee and can barely put any weight on it and I'm hobbling around on it . All I can do now is laugh at myself when I try to move around LOL !!!

I've tried icing it and using medicated pain relieving gel on my knee but the pain is still there . Oh well I'm sitting in my recliner couch watching the Indy 500 then the NASCAR Coca Cola 600 later today

    Getting old sucks !!!!

I forgot all about that until now. I had never heard of Ubiquiti until you posted about it a year ago. Small company I moonlight at has had nothing but issues with their wifi using Cisco small business gear and he finally asked me to just redo the whole thing. I did with Ubiquiti, and haven't had a single problem since. In fact don't think have even rebooted any of the equipment since putting it in. Damn I just had to poke that sleeping bear didn't I?!

Have netgear in the house and already invested in it or would have redone mine when I went with an extender. But stayed with netgear and it too has been rock solid. I also setup a bridge using cheap $40 Directv hardware to run TCP/IP across coax cable already in place and got full bandwidth with reduced latency. Much to my surprise, but would fail above 100 Mbps. Unfortunately that is not an issue here.
