How does one get to Hurricane Creek exactly?

 

Take I-40 west out of Asheville and before that last rest stop that is on the opposite side of the highway you veer off the highway just past a guard rail.

Had one in Easley last night go into a double wide.

 

Have any exit numbers, because if I follow those directions, I’ll be lost in a heartbeat like last week.

 

rofl yeah, I'm looking for it on Google Maps to see if I can lock it down. Only been there once.

 

I read near exit 7, on I-40?

 

It's not an actual exit. You literally turn off the highway onto a broken up road that turns into the trail. I'm having a tough time narrowing it down on Google Maps, though.

 

Yikes! This was in the Ebenezer area.

@EricL is hurricane creek doable in 2wd? Couldn’t get a good answer in the fb groups.

Edit: That’s if you’ve done the trail. Question can be for anyone else that has done it.

For the most part. We went with @SC2SC and pretty sure we got off Hurricane Creek onto another road that would have been sketchy for 2wd.

 

Hurricane to max patch should be.

 

Good deal! Looking for some more views that can be accessed year round.

 

Ready to get to the mountains then! Maybe it’ll be easy if all this rain stops before next weekend.

 

Isn’t there a hiking trail around there to max Patch or do you pretty much drive straight to it?
