Didnt really like it looking at them online, until i got behind one a few weeks ago.

Your right the color seems to change depending on the amount of light or angle you see it from.

Seems like there are a bunch to pick from off dealers lots in this color.Hopefully Toyota will continue to offer it in 2019-2020 OF models

Yea, I was in the same boat and had considered the blue, or the cement, or even quicksand. NOT!!!!!!!! Those are all great colors but seriously, how often do you get the chance to drive an Inferno Taco!!!!!!

Yep,i have a black Tacoma now and wont ever get another black one.Way to hard to keep clean and shows minor scratches very easily.

My house is almost a mile up a gravel road so you can imagine my pain keeping it clean.

Inferno is about as dark a color as i am willing to go with when i shop for a new OR

I have some interior inferno carbon fiber dash kit pieces left if anyone is interested. This IS real cf...kit was not cheap but what a difference it made on setting me apart from everyone else. Made all the haters cry and bitch on here too...it was hilarious...get em all riled up cause someone did something different then them. Pieces are 3m backing peel and stick. I didn’t use them all because it just would have been to much. But for anyone interested this will all some inferno breakup to your interior. Pm if your interested and I will answer your questions. Found another little something at HD today that might be able to add a little of the pearl effect into it. I’ll try to get around to my experiment tomorrow and share with you guys.

I think the matte clear knocks some of the brightness down a bit vs the glossier finish.

Yea, Inferno is not immune to showing dirt, or worse, this damn pollen. In the sun though, when its clean, there's nothing like it.

I always say, this color is like the famous Gibson Les Paul Starburst guitar

Ok busy morning playing with paint. Really I’m going through all of this just to see how well I can make it work with common spray paint And it’s kind of fun, soooooo. The paprika is a pretty damn close match, especially for using inside the truck. I like the way it looks with the matte clear so that it’s not super shiny inside the truck, but I wanted a little of that pearl that the outside and even the grey trim already has. So wandering through HD I found this frosted pearl paint in clear and thought, hmmmmmm. So I bought a can to give it a try. I did the paprika, immediately followed by a misting of this stuff, let it dry for about 15 min, then used the matte clear. It doesn’t come across in the pics very well, but I think it worked pretty well. Just be careful not to use too much of the pearl stuff, a couple of very light misting coats was all it took.
I now have the dash trim removed and waiting for the adhesion promoter to dry and we’ll see how it goes. More pics to follow. CA539831-95AC-4407-8D4D-06C384D69490.jpg87700E76-1EA0-4823-BC41-4D0DCCAE37DA.jpg0A166BE6-5755-4648-9402-1EE7B0249A4F.jpg
