Happy Saturday, all!! I took a tour of an equine therapy center yesterday - originally focused for children who have been physically/mentally abused having recently added a second facility to treat Veterans and their families: Equines For Freedom. I've been asked to join the Board of EFF - if you haven't seen one of these facilities or heard of them, you should. Wow!

Yesterday afternoon was spent cutting grass - for only the second time in 4 years I got stung by a honey bee while cutting by the apiary. He flew into me as I cut across the landing approach to the hives and got caught in my hair. He panicked and tagged me in the forehead...OUCH!!!

We also got to finally swim in our pool. Between turning on the heater two days ago and the 80+ temps/sun yesterday the pool water was at a bath-tub 88 deg. Heavenly.

Today I get to pick up the grass and then put new wire on Lynn's garden fence - the baby bunnies have figured out that they can get through the old wire. Then, more time in the pool!!

    Enjoy your day!!

    1 ft/lb = 12 in/lbs. 14 ft/lbs = 168 in/lbs. In other words you could torque the plugs with the in/lb wrench if you wanted.

Good morning everybody. Wet, cool out west, valley supposed to hit 90's early this coming week, that should make it in the 70's up here.
Good day yesterday, figured out why one of my stoves I had worked on wasn't working as it should, I had stuffed too thick of a wick up in the burner part called the vaporizer, stove uses white gas. Acted like it was loosing pressure. Reworked the wick, see the results. Stove was a Radius 42, I have three different omes, different cases is all.

I need to find more to do, up to over 190 stoves. Gardening now, last of the garden planted today, tomatoes staked in cages. Don't know how the beans and corn will do, soaked them in wet paper towels by the woodstove a few days, beans smell, so they may be shot. Some of the corn germinated doing the same. I guess less watering this summer.

Mine are gathering dust. I still have hopes to obtain a 66 Goat then I can use them again.

    No surprise Mr. L72

20180527_145115.jpg Afternoon all:hattip:. Beautiful day yesterday but a wee bit rainy today. But on a good note, we stopped at the local grocery store and I bought a bottle of Carl's favorite flavor drink...was pretty good.

Here in Florida we’er getting ready to pull most of the garden up. We keep the tomatoes and zuc’s but the heat kills everything else. Course the garden gets planted in December so no complaints.

Never have I Carl. It's bottled at Catawissa Bottling Co. We were in the local supermarket in Benton and first time I saw it there. Used to get Cherokee Red Cherry soda and they don't bottle it for up here anymore. Love the small market for stuff I can't get down home.

Don't recall seeing that on the shelf. I'll have to check out the Benton Beer Barn and see if they carry it. Where at in PA did you get it? We're just north of Bloomsburg.
