The LL8 is a solid platform, lots of people overlook them for drag power but with a solid cam and a turbo those bastards can smoke a V8 on the strip.

Hard to compare because the cruiser is a lot heavier, the truck is faster but the cruiser could stop all of it's momentum and pull it the other way up a hill haha. Both getting on the highway the truck would leave it behind early on but the cruiser would catch up once it hits 4th gear. It's basically 225hp against 225hp with a fuck ton more torque but more weight against it haha

I'd get them from Wheelers Off-road, they may have a discount if you call them. They used to at least

You guys get a lot more though with the V6 supercharger. I've heard 250 is about the top end for the 4cyl super but you guys can break 300 supposedly

Marlin gives you a better shifter vs the two pieces adapter thing that urd gives you to rig your shifter together with.

It ain't easy though, you'd be better off just leaving the stock pulley on the V6 if you aren't well versed in problem solving and tuning, also money, takes a fair bit to get all the extra stuff needed. 300hp is way out there for v6 SC but possible.

How hard will it be to change out the front coil overs to bilstein 5100 coil overs? Any special tools needed, and wheelers said they’ll preinstall the coils somehow before shipping. I guess if the box has a big hole, wheel know the coil let go.

That's kinda what I was thinking but if you weld the adapter on wouldn't it be comparable?

Yeah, I suppose it would. Theyre pretty similar otherwise. Marlin has the shorter throws but a longer stick vice versa with the URD.

Preassembled 5100 should take like 45 mins a side. Just need a socket set, wrench set and maybe another person to stand on your hub if you still have a sway bar.

I’ll weigh out the preassembled option. The extra cost could be spent on rear bilsteins. How much trouble is it to squeeze the spring and install everything? I probably need to watch a good YouTube on this lol.
