It sucks but you can do it without a spring compressor if you have a floor jack.

I paid somebody an hour of shop labor to do mine. $100 seems high but I have piece of mind that it was done right. Just squeezing something that takes 500lbs of force to compress 1 inch seems sketchy to me. Especially with what is basically a piece of threaded rod with two plastic hooks on the ends. I only came with one pair of arms and one pair of eyes and I'd like to hang on to those as long as possible.
As for installing them on the truck, pretty straight forward. Just make sure you undo your swaybar and try not to booger up the end links but their cheap enough if you do. For me it was a two person job to stand on the hub and get the bottom bolt in. 3 top nuts get 47 ft lbs and the bottom bolts get 90. Sway bar just as tight as you can get it. I found it pretty hard to torque it with that hex head.

That brings up a question... would you suggest replacing the oem coil overs & shocks; or only replacing the shocks with 5100’s?

Yeah you can assemble them yourself, with just a floor jack and some wrenches and of course your truck

Longer stick can be fixed easily, but i kinda like longer, though I have no experience with shorter, so...

    Shorter throw or stick?

Throw, the stick is fine, I didn’t notice any difference between stock and after the urd short sifter though i think it probably makes it a 1” taller. I remember measuring the throw once and it was like 3”ish something like that. I dont remember what stock was. But urd claims le 44% reduction in Throw

Longer stick above the fulcrum means longer effective throw though

The fulcrum isn't the body so no, you'd just have a stick that looks really short and moves a foot in between gears haha

Got my Whitline LCA bushings installed then took a look at installing the TC Cam tab gussets and noticed that the cam bolts looked a bit small. Looks like Toyota installed a smaller size cam on the 1995.5 (haven’t confirmed this).

    C6FDE3D5-BD30-4ED3-9148-ADD58118ACE5.jpg

The ones on the left are the ones that were installed on the truck (factory), ones the right are some random spares I bought off a TW member, just in case. Didn’t have a complete set of the larger ones so cam tab gussets will have to wait.
