Not to steal @Blackout14 's sale or anything, but if you were interested in running a set All Pro Standard leaf packs, @FlyinRyan893 is probably about to sell his. I think he said he'd be asking $300 for them, IIRC.

Been on some new meds since January. My CRS MIGHT be easing up a tiny bit (or that 30 lbs of lard I lost might be improving the blood flow to my brain, who knows).

Edit: On second thought, improved blood flow to my brain can't be the reason considering the intelligence failure I had last Saturday.

Haha, thanks, but I definitely failed my wisdom roll on that one. I was alone. After I backed out of it I should have just went around instead of driving right back into it. If I had had another truck with me, it would have been like you said.

In all honesty, it was a stupid thing to do and one I should have known better than from experience when I was a kid...before the days of cell phones and all that. I just got really lucky Kyle was able to relay the distress signal for me. Having said that, I'm pretty confident that if I had really had to, I could have gotten myself out with the ol' HiLift winch method, but then I would have probably keeled over from exhaustion afterward, lol.

Well put and thankfully Kyle was in cell phone range to retrieve the ogt. That being said it would be nice to have a shotgun rider at all times but sadly not always an option for that if you’re commuting alone to the designated meeting spot.

Well, it was like this...Kyle was 45+ minutes out plugging a hole in his tire. I was able to get just enough signal standing on my toolbox to text him my location and need for assistance. I didn't have Lee M's cell number at the time but Kyle did and he was able to text Lee M my situation and location. Luckily, Lee M happened to be in a location that he was getting enough signal to receive the text and come to my rescue, so ultimately I was only stuck in that hole for 20 minutes or so.

So while I failed my wisdom roll, my luck roll came up aces, lol. Otherwise, my day would have gotten a lot worse. :anonymous:

Yeah, without it, I'd have either had a long wait for someone to come by to pull me out or a long hike to the campground in hopes there was someone there that could render assistance. I've made those long hikes quite a few times in my youth. In return, I've also come across a stuck vehicle where someone else had had to make the long hike and I tracked him down, following his foot prints a few miles down the trail, picked him up, took him back to his truck and then pulled him out. He wanted to give me $20 for doing it, but I refused until he just threw the $20 behind the seat where I couldn't reach it without getting out, haha, so I did end up taking it, but I don't like taking money for helping someone out like that. I'd rather they just pay it forward.

Cool. I’ve been doing A TON of reading on that set up and everyone seems to have really good things to say about. According to Maria at Headstrong the 3 leaf pack would get me 1.5” with overload removed or 2” with it in. Based on my stock measurements and that lift and taking the overload out, I would have a rake of 1 1/4”. I am stock at 19 7/8” front both sides and DR-22 1/4 and PR-22 1/8”.

To my knowledge, which I admit is maybe a little limited, your options for spring packs are basically All Pro, OME Dakars, and Deavers. Deaver will customize your pack how ever you like, IIRC. I have Darkars on my first gen. They are great springs, but they locate the axle too far forward. If I had a chance to do it over, I would have gone with APs, since they locate the axle slightly aft and I'd rather trim the aft corner of my fender than the fwd corner, haha. But definitely do your research. Just keep in mind AP is currently on TW's shit list due to their having moved facilities and being unreasonably late on customer orders. However, since you be buying these from a fellow TW member here in FL, it's not really an issue.

All pros and Dakars are two of your most common over the counter so to speak after market replaceable leaf packs. I think if you went with a 1.5” AAL with the 51’s and 885’s you prob only have about I wanna say a 1/2” rake. I ran the 885’ s and 51’s with a 2” AAL and it was like a 1/2” rake ,but I had a topper.

First let me say that thing is sweet! Did you end up having to run UCA’s with the 885’s or were you able to get good alignment numbers?

Yep, I've got all pro standard leafs. They should be off the truck this week. I'll let em go for $300. They're great springs, the give between 2.5-3" of lift and the flex out really well.
