Yes Florida is great. Cheap car fees. No state income tax. No property tax. We were going to split 3.5 acres with bro-in-law in Palm Bay but decided to let it go. Didn't want to build another house (yet) and couldn't put a trailer on that particular property. Now leaning towards the Melbourne area. May just go with a trailer lot, a condo or a townhome. Just need a Florida address to take advantage of the benefits. Keeping VA house so damn sure don't want 2 yards to maintain. VA state slogan is "Virginia is for Lovers" but should be 'Virginia is for High Taxes".

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Getting through the install... this was all from yesterday. Still need to put in 3 more speakers, tweeters, run their new wires, and soundproof the front doors. Sub will come eventually if deemed necessary.

I get it and no disrespect was intended and I say this as I watch the placing of the wreath at Arlington.

Thanks, Dub this is my last mod for now. I installed the heater pads under the seat covers but won't connect them until the fall. Too hot to be messing with them right now. The only two other mods in the future are going to be the rearview mirror with homelink and some type of bike rack that I can install without getting in the way of my retractable tonneau cover.

Looks like you've already tackled the audio upgrade mod in grand fashion.

That was my first mod. I couldn't justify spending an additional 3k for the premium technology package on the one thing I had to have which was the sound system. I never use the sunroof, the dual climate control didn't make sense to me since I'm the only one in my truck 95% of the time, and the heated seats only cost me $90 from Amazon that I can install myself. Instead, I opted to spend the 3k on a system upgrade, retractable cover, N-fab bars, led light conversion, shift knob, decals, and some other accessories. Total mods including wheels puts me at about 5k just don't tell my wife. :fingerscrossed:

What have I done with my 3rd Gen today ???

Well.....due to the rainy weather I've not done a single one of the mods I'd been planning on knocking out this long weekend.

I did use it as a handy work surface for rubbing my butt and slathering my slabs.

It also held my beer as I did so.
