There's a new Toyota trd pro grille designed for the safety sense. Toyota 2018+ pro grille is 1/3 the cost

Still keeping on using my Taco as a work surface......

It's holding my current brew (as I work through the garage fridge's contents) while I get ready to put the beans, sausage and corn in this little kettle.

You ever catch yourself marveling over the sweet lines on these trucks ?

I really like everything about the design of this one. Every angle is really to my liking.

Something about the rear cab view harkens back to the heritage of this truck.....and the shark fin antenna let's you know it's certainly modern.

I’ve had mine almost at year.....works great. Brainless to set up in like 2 mins. Umbrella hole in the middle, wa-la, instant picnic table.
Better than any other options I saw on the internet, for the price and convenience. IMO. 4 people to eat on a table, folds up into a brief case size. Amazon reviews are opinions and many times based on ridiculous things. Regardless I have Prime.....so if what gets delivered is not what I liked etc, free return.
This is a keeper....if it ever breaks I’ll go buy another one. ; )

Different perspective, totally get what you are saying. Patriots, brothers and sisters sacrificed all for their country, all of us, regardless of who or what we are, to preserve our way of life, our freedom.

Not my quote, but a positive thing about Memorial Day:

“This Memorial Day, I will head to the ocean as the sun is coming up. I will spend some time alone, and think about those who never made it back. Then I will return to my wife and kids and be grateful for my life. I will fire up the grill and invite friends over. And I will wish each of them a Happy Memorial Day, knowing full well that this day and the joy it brings are gifts I can never repay. Except, perhaps, by living a life full of happiness as my fallen friends would have wanted.”

I did a bunch of reading on oil vs dry air filters. Dry seems to be the better option, air flow wise.
The link below fits the Tacoma, I have the Pro CAI that I also use it with....and I cut out that charcoal filter.
Plus this dry filter is reusable....you can wash it.

Was going to wash it but weather said otherwise. Also a pic to show how much farther a -10 offset pushes the tires out.

The brewski is totally aftermarket.................the tailgate surface is OEM for now..........thinking about a metal tailgate cover and a Canyonero spoiler.

Got the AC drain mod installed over the weekend - not much happening on site. Took me a bit to figure out. I was trying to loop back the hose rearward through the frame and not down - and kept folding the hose and kinking it. Once I turned my laptop sideways and got a good look at the install pictures, took me less than 5 minutes.

Parts ordered for diff breather relocate. Went down the rabbit hole on that thread. How many times can someone explain why you would do the mod? On the downside, parts were substantially more than posted on the thread. Union and breather come to $38.22 in the great white north. When they're in, I'll post a picture of the parts and the bill. Grrrrrr.

Also found out that the factory Toyota dash cam is not compatible with the '16. Probably a good thing given the price tag. The nice part about those, is that they wire directly into the overhead. No dangly wires.

Ditch lights and brackets from CaliRaisedLED, with the OEM-style switch:

Covers from BruteForceCovers to satisfy the State of California, and the mount extensions from CaliRaisedLED for my GoPro on one side and maybe an antenna on the other.

They still need to be pointed correctly, but we're basically there. Here's with no lights on:

And with just the ditch lights (not yet aimed for maximal spread):
