Ill do that one of these days.
This week, Ill be working on building the kitchen in the Airstream. Picking up the stove tomorrow. Then, the base structure will get built and the support for the stove and sink will get figured out.
Depending on the weather, I might do some more work on the roll cage. I need to do some cutting to finish the door bars and X brace. I also need to start thinking on how the forward struts will run through the firewall.

Door bars cut and fitted. X brace cut and mostly fitted, just need to grind 1/16" off one edge to get it sitting flush on the driver side frame rail.

Built the base for the kitchen. Sink will be centered at the window, stove will be centered between the windows, and the rest will be counter space. I will add cross braces tomorrow. I made aluminum L brackets that are riveted to the wall under the rail. In this pic, you can see the flooring.

Also did some work on the car. Cut holes in the firewall and fit the forward struts in. There is a connector that will weld to the frame rail with a small tube extension to get the right fitment and another at the firewall. This will allow the struts to be removed for engine access.

Yes, connector is backwards. Just fitting it for now.

Back on to working on the kitchen. Cabinet framework done and skinned (will take clamps off and paint it when the drawers are finished). Got the gas plumbing finished for the entire trailer. Gotta get some more wood to finish the cabinet around the fridge so I can finish the last of the wiring. Also need some plumbing parts to finish the drain for the sink.

Rear walls finish cut, painted, and started to mount (waiting on more screws to arrive). Used 1/4" fender welting where the walls meet.

Screen door re-screened and installed. Need to make a sliding handle cover and put on a couple latches.

After I install the fridge panels tomorrow (just finished getting painted), I am going to weld on a couple more pieces to my cars floor frame. After that, frame will come out them motor put back in to get the exhaust bends done from the collector to the H pipe. After that is done, frame will get stripped/washed/sandblasted/painted then put back together with the front suspension rebuild. Then, put her back together to weld the roll cage in.

Oh, got some windows for the new trailer. One will go on the side door and the other will go on the opposite wall.

Getting the frame ready. Tomorrow, a few more welds (panhard bar mount, roll cage outriggers) will get done. Thursday morning, I will put the motor back in and have an appointment to get the pipes bent and installed from the collectors to the H pipe. Then full disassemble to bare frame, followed by wash/sandblast/frame paint/chassis coat wax. Next month, roll cage will get welded in (not painting weld points).

Thanks. Slow going, but all projects are seeing progression.
Back walls done. Waiting for more screws to get here to finish the siding on the fridge.
Big wall got 3" on center screws to keep the spacing of what the side walls have. The fridge cabinet will have 6" on center spacing due to smaller size and the trim that will go on the edges.

Cut a hole in the side of the new trailer and put the first window in.

Did the shower curtain rod get bent to shape?

When I run into that, I just make a template out of coat hangers and take it down to the local muffler shop. Those guys can make any bend you want and do it cheap. My last project cost me a 12 pack of beer.

This is the jig test piece. Used steel because it was cheap. I have to cut 1" off the jig radius.
Tomorrow, I will get a couple pieces of aluminum tubing, local shop only had 1/8" wall stuff in 1" tubing. So, I have to go about a 3 hr round trip to get thinner walled stuff.

Cool thread. My wife just picked up an older horse trailer with living quarters that we are going to be remodeling. You’ve done great work on your trailer build!!

Well, the custom counter top was made wrong. A foot and a half too long and an inch too wide. Cut the length down, dont want to run the chance of chipping it when ripping to width. So, I am modifying the plan a bit. I will be adding some under counter lighting in form of a LED string light. That will allow accent lighting without the main overhead lights.
I trimmed the counter top with the same fender welting I used on the walls, this will help cover up the variation in the wall. I also wrapped it around the curve for a more finished look.
    20180529_195235.jpg 20180529_195250.jpg
All cabinet/drawer doors cut to shape, and lined up. They will get sanded and painted this week.
    20180529_195319.jpg
One of the lower cabinet doors was a PITA, dam* thing wouldnt square up. Ended up reshaping the drawer that it mount to in order to make it sit square. But, now they all sit/open/close properly.

Cut a hole in the street side back door and stuck a window in it. Put latches on the curb side back door.
