Man it feels good to be home! Two 16oz beers in... Two Juicy and Sip Of Sunshine. Nice buzz going, and the thought of sleeping in my own bed is fucking amazing right now.

@Landnyk, if you're lookin for "customer experience" on Drew's work, I can vouch for him. Super fucking happy with his work when he put in my Pro suspension and ECGS bushing. I'd highly recommend him. Matter of fact, if I ever do something else to my truck that involves anything mechanically big I'll be asking Drew for sure. Wouldn't even think twice about it. @tacobell007 and @Boston10Taco are the men!

 

Great to hear. I'm definitely going to have him do the install. Just waiting for it to come in and set up a time to get out there.

 

Figawi status... broke spinnaker halyard 10 minutes into the downwind leg. (Lost 40% of our power). So we ended up with a 5th place first time in years we didn’t get a podium finish

But still partying hard

That’s the Tractor Supply stall mat in there also. I kept it in there to flatten the other mat since it was shipped all rolled up. A short time in the sun with the stall mat over it and it’s good to go.

Looks great! And damn, that cap is really tall!

 

It doesn't look nearly as tall from the side. Glad I picked up the additional leaves for my Dakars. That's going to be the next project.

 

What leafs for the Dakar? What do you have already ?

$81 D29XL Leaf Spring

D29XL extra leaf to throw in there and bump the capacity of the pack a bit more.

 

Anyone ever rebuild a 1/2" drive torque wrench?

Mine broke during the install as the ratcheting mechanism only seems to catch / work at one point in the spin. It's a Craftsman one, so I don't expect miracles out of it, but I'd love to tear it apart and fix it rather than shell out the $$$ for a new one. The warranty for torque wrenches is only 1 year, rather than the lifetime warranty on most of their other hand tools.
