Mounted my new to me tent, to my new @KB Voodoo rack

 

Today I took off the front mudflaps... the rubbing from the new BFGs was driving me nuts.

Downside is a fair bit of splatter down the side when driving in wet weather. Bah.

 

Turning 50,000 miles tomorrow, changed filter,oil,and greased the U joints today.
Truck is almost broken in.
Fluid Film applied at 49,0000 miles.
Ready for summer driving.
First trip to North Attleboro Ma. tommorow to pick up a open trailer.

Wait til you drive with your window down and hand outside. I always get splashed going thru puddles.

Not today, but yesterday. I sound deadened the front doors with 80mil Noico sound deadener. Did the exterior skin areas and only the holes on the interior panels.

 

Sanded and buffed the headlights, then had a mini photoshoot with taco. MGM looks great when it's overcast.

 

Just ordered some Hella 500ff lights that I plan on mounting behind the grill! will post pics when I get them...also if anyone knows a writeup to wire these up that would be great because when it comes to wiring I am lost lol

 

I had a SOCOM 16. Didn't care for it & like my AR10 much better. Everybody needs a semi-auto .308!

Not a bad truck day, Changed the plugs and cleaned the maf sensor and throttle body. Butt Dyno says I musta picked up least 300 horse at the tires.

 

I don't know. I haven't even cranked it up yet. I hope there is a good difference with all of the work. I was getting a bad amount of distartion from the Memphis Audio Power Reference 6X9s. I used 7.5 of 9 sheets of 18 sq ft Noico 80mil deadener from Amazon

Spent the day painting my rims. Turned out a whole lot better than I expected! Products used were gloss black Duplicolor high-performance wheel coating, red testors model paint for the trim, and Duplicolor wheel gloss clear coat.
Note of caution: the clear coat seemed to cause the model paint to spread a little, even after an hour of drying. Not sure if I should have just let it dry longer or if it caused a little reaction, but it was nothing too major.

 

Yep. Traced flap outline on cardboard. Flipped over template for left side. Just eye ball’d it

 

Are these the spyder ones? I had those same ones...loved em until they turned into a fishbowl even after 3 coats of silicone...happy with my stockers

 

what did you use to do this? I have a few scratches on mine I'd love to try to get out. Your truck looks outstanding!!...but could use a pro grille
