They must, otherwise your readings will be garbage as the cat will clean up the fuel remains.

P0141, wich means there is a bad O2 sensor... but is there particular things that can cause this code to pop up? other than a bad sensor

Also, unrelated to this, I was planning on replacing the sparkplugs because I doubt they have ever been changed (truck has 184k). Then cleaning MAF sensor.
Related to the code or not, it sure won't hurt the truck anyway...

Those metal shavings won't hurt anything. You are good to go.

Welder decided not to cooperate so some 2400 degree JB weld it is. Might try two car batteries, some jumper cables and welding rods next time for ghetto welding.

I need to do the front pads and rotors on my truck. Current rotors are warped and pads are pretty low. Whats a good brand/what does everyone on here run? I don't want to do the big brake upgrade and I don't need any cross drilled rotors or anything fancy like that.

I got slotted rotors and pads from Rock auto for a real good price. I've ran them for 40k miles and still smooth.

    Power stop kit. $120.

If not OEM, I suggest Brembo, or top of the line Napa rotors .

My father has them (both the powerstop pads and rotors) and they are still super smooth, after like, 30k miles. Got them for a really good price too

I'm surprised theres not "off-roading" labled brakes lol. Especially the way alot of companies are for money.

So shit hit the fan today. Water over the driver side seat.

Now my airbag light is on and steering is tight. I'm guessing something shorted with the airbag. I know nothing about this system. What should I check?

I've been looking at the Power stop ones from Rock Auto. Are the slotted ones worth the extra money over the standard kit?

Anyone who has a pillar mounted gauge cluster, how do you run the wires from the pillar into the engine bay?

Just on the side of dash and through the fire wall where the wire harness goes through. Dont have a gauge cluster but thats how i ran my light bar wire. the only wire you see is 1 when you open the door and look between the body and dash

I honestly dont know, back in the day the slotting and drill was to help cool and get ride of dust but newer breaks are alot better then back then so its not really needed. There probably isn’t really any noticeable difference unless you are doing like a track day or break hard alot. I just went that way because it looked cooler...

there is a connection under the driver seat, could be the plug just got soaked and is throwing a code...id start with drying the plug, disconnect the battery and unplug it, when its fully dry, connect, then reconnect the battery n see if that fixes it. If not it could be the sensor in the female end of the seat belt is wet or damaged
