Yeah that’s where I ran my lights to as well. The wires for these gauges have to go along the actual pillar where your “oh shit” handle is. I can’t see down to where the fire wall grommet is.

Hmmm in that case I might just go with the standard kit and save about $50. Unless someone can convince me that slotted rotors are the way to go

I ran it down the side here then behind the kick plate then up to th fire wall grommet

When i ran my wires for the light bar i pulled the piller trim off and puled the celling down so its all hidden

Problem is it’s three clusters of wires lol. A pair of wires would be fine but these are too thick.

There is alot of space, get a huge shrick wrap then lay the wires in tight braid or box and cover in shri mnk wrap. When i run sets of wires through stuff I always braid them to make it clean and tight. Or pull up the dash there or cut a small notch and drop it through that in te corner so no one will see.

Looking at replacement engines just in case mine decides to blow one day. Anyone heard of XP? They are selling a remanufactured longblock 5VZ for $2200 - seems too good to be true.

Yeah I hear ya. I use mine as a daily driver and I don't have a backup, so I worry sometimes that I wouldn't be able to find a good used one in a pinch. I'm looking at all the options.

I ordered an Ultra Gauge today. It's backordered though! There are 77 customers ahead of me. I'm hoping to use the tool to help me identify my intermittent misfire.

I remember reading something somewhere i think maybe when i did a vin search that it said my truck had an “overdrive”. Do the r150 have a O/D or is that info just wrong.

I found a really good deal on a short block 5VZ online. I wonder if they forgot a zero in the price. Tempted to buy it right now and see if they renege on the sale.

I have no special knowledge, I didn't even know what transmission we had in our trucks until 6 months ago. Here's the chart on Marlin Crawler, not seeing a R150.

They're the same, one is 2wd the other is 4wd but the ratios are identical

Well I blew out some connectors, taped up a harness or two. Inspected some hoses, reset my IACV position and the cruiser seems to be happy right now, just like it was. I like the easy relearn IACV it has.
