i bought this truck about 2 years ago and then tinted the windows, no other mods until

about 2 months ago i was researching rear air bags for my 08 double cab and came across this site. i was very happy that it saved me some cash because i learned about the rear TSB leafs here. but then i started looking around and now im hooked, lol. i did some other stuff too.

rear TSB was the plan, but then i read about the biltiein 5100's so those went on all 4 corners, i set the fronts to 0.85"

then was my "jamoshi" style grill with FJ badge and blakced out V6 from the tailgate

then de-badged and re-badged in some areas

    then the BHLM

took some pics today after clay bar and wax

i plan on doing the fog light on mod and some bed lights

i was thinking about taking off the TRD Sport decals from the back of the bed but not sure.

Looks good! And I like what you did with the front license plate. Have the police hassled you about it at all?

yeah i really like the look of the DC short bed, i wish i had a long bed at times but it wont fit in my garage so i had to go with short bed. i got a great deal on it because it was driven by the dealer for 5k miles, i got it brand new for 25,700, after the buy back of my 99 taco i only paid 11 k for it, i got 17 k for my old taco and i had only paid 15k for it, lol

no its not a grill craft, i made that myself i did the "jamoshi" mod and used some wire plaster lathe. easy cheap grill

i used the same wire plastic lathe for that. i cut out the center part to show the plate better. no problems yet

The license plate mod is great, don't think it'll work with a Grillcraft as the mess is too closed, but it sho' does look better!

Now, consider another set of taillights. It'll clean up the back to make it match the front better.
