Check with State Farm. They said they will basically cover anything so long as damage is not accrued during a sanctioned racing event. They covered me earlier this year for some body damage when i was rock crawling out in sand hollow

Last I knew, they insure motorcycles along with an auto policy for very cheap (especially for NJ). The rate is by CC too, so it’s great for sport bikes that normally have insane premiums.

Not sure where you're getting your information but I'm pretty sure Mike from Defined doesn't work for TC and never has. I could be wrong tho.

It says in the post that he’s not gonna make anymore. Just have a local fabricator throw one together for you.

Yep, I have put installed and removed a shit load of uniballs, different factors may cause it to get stuck, maybe some rust, maybe the cup warped when welded, maybe they jammed it in there " they wont tell you this" , Cup was undersized , no antiseize . Try to give it some hammer hits if you can , if not just try it again with the tool. Oh and always install new ones with the silver antiseize.

Thanks bud. Yeah i started out with hammer hits while the UCA was still installed, when that wasn't doing much i removed the UCA and got a couple good whacks on it to where the Uniball actually came out a hair, at that point I went and bought a press so I couldn't damage the Uniball cup at all, and the press did nothing lol. Also don't have the Uniball press tool, but have a feeling I'm just going to end up buying one if all 4 are this bad.

    Mine just hammered out.

Use a bigger press. No need for an actual uniball tool

    Yeah that's the plan..

Hoping this one is just being a bitch and the other 3 hammer out easily. I won't hold my breath though

State Farm cancelled my renters insurance after being with them for over 25 years because we had 2 claims in the last 5 years. They are not getting any of my money after I find a replacement. Leaning towards Geico. Thanks for the Progressive info above about LT not being covered they are off my list.

Did you try a little heat?

The first set I did on my tc kit when I bought the truck were so rusted that they wouldn’t come out. Took it to Chris at bbm and he helped me out and even his big ass press barely got it out.

Did a pair of camburg ucas that were so worn the uniball could fully spin but they slid right out with a hammer, socket, and a little heat.

Yeah I spent about 3hrs either on the phone or waiting for call backs to make sure I could have modified suspension and be covered with progressive. Not in AZ at least. They'll cover modified suspension on a commercial plan, but not without a business license

    Wrecked!
Geico will only honor the extra coverage on parts that are 1 year or less in age, i had to show receipts to prove there age. not worth the extra $ , but they did pay pretty good.My 06 with 135k on it they paided 23k, i had an extra 5k added to my truck, and when the crash happened only a few things were less then a yr old. You may want to remove it if your paying for it.

 everyone knows its true but itll still be an upgrade from a "MT setup".

i believe it was a totaled truck from the rear? i picked it up from a buddy who originally bought it.

i did run into an issue though with the axle&shock rubbing. the bottom eyelet is too short.

can someone tell me what the extended length on 8inch shocks should be? my shafts had like 5 5/8 showing at droop? either need to figure out if i can change the lower eyelet or order new coilovers

I don't know what specs the All Pro specific shocks had but you could try flip the half moon retainers that the lower spring seat sits on at the rod end and space the seat up a little bit and see if that clears.

That looks like how they are setup on the last pic you posted.

Check with All Pro on the coilover specs.

If they are the right ones and still rub and you have access to a lathe you could setup the lower misalignments to space the lower rod end forward a little in its mount if it will still clear the steering.

id rather figure it out myself then deal with them. after not having simple items (which were missing from an order originally anyways) ship for 3 months they can screw off.

ill take a glance at spacing it forward in the mount. i believe there was room to clear.
