very nice. I hope to do that to my Cement soon also. How did you get the original "garnish" off the $90 grill. Was it attached by push screws as well?

Black out emblems. TRD Pro grille.
Mine wasn't .It was actually melted instead of being used by the star lock washers. Just used a box cutter and a flat head to get off the melted plastic.

Cool. On more quick question, did your 2018 TSS garnish come with the starlock fasteners or did you have buy those separate?

If someone needs a 35180 grill. This might work .Plaza Auto Mall in Brooklyn . I added one to my cart at the time I had another dealer working on it. They have sent me several emails wanting to know if I still need it. Anyway , it might work.

Thanks for the tip man. I just tried, grabbed a vin off autotrader. Placed the order, seemed to be going ok. But then they just cancelled order. Received a f/u email that said. “Unfortunately, this part is on national back order by our manufacturer and cannot be ordered at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.” I wonder if this is a blanket statement since maybe the vin wasn’t accepted. Anyway, bummer.

I ordered a 35180 from the local dealer (I have a TRD Pro so I gave them that VIN). But as a backup, I ordered one of these as well in case the dealer freaks out. It's easy enough to re-sell.

I guess I got lucky with the grabbing a VIN of the net and using it - was off a Pro at a another dealership. I ordered the grill, garnish and longer harness for $320 delivered. I also got an email from the parts guys saying that the order needed approval from Toyota to release - but surprisingly a day later got an email with tracking #

What's up with the missing "TOYOTA" lettering in that listing?

They come with the grille, they probably can't show it for legal reasons.

And the shipping was pretty quick too. It only took like 5-6 days.

This was my experience with them as well, they cancelled the next day with the same message.... I had luck with CheapestFactoryParts.com though.

I installed my OEM 2018 Pro Grille (80 not 70) today! I used the OEM Garnish and 2 Star/lock washers. Broke a couple tabs on the old grille when I was taking it off but otherwise the process went smoothly! The washers were tight to put on over the garnish so I used a pair of pliers to stick through them to widen them out a little more. I was kind of in a rush so I didn’t get to take pictures of the process but the OPs pics came in handy and were helpful!
