And it's safe for ingestion. Good thing if you have a pup that eats everything. We use it in the garage.

Morning everybody! Hope you all had a safe and happy Memorial Day. Yesterday was very relaxing. A rainy day and movies go together well.

 

@BamaTaco56 hows the weather up there? Any severe?

Definitely a couple or rotating thunderstorms up there.

 

here in shelby county it's just flooding and slight wind.

 

Nothing severe yet. Just had a 3 hour flash flood warning issued though.

 

Nah, Tim's Ford is a man made lake that averages about 60-70 feet so no yaking for me. We have a few bass boats up there but didn't even go out in them this year. Dropped a minnow about 20-30 feet down and tight lined the whole weekend on our ultralite rigs. Caught prolly 200 crappie and, 75-100 stripped bass, a few catfish and small mouth and I caught a damn good walleye but she snapped off when I got it on the dock and managed to get back in the water before I could grab her. We always have a big fish fry on our final day so the eating is always good. With the shit weather gonna be here for the next few days I plan on getting my yak and seat fixed up and ready to go so hopefully I can get out Friday after work! I am ready to catch my kinda fish, my kinda way!

Looks like you have a weekend project coming up.

 

I'm glad that's today, not 2 weeks from now when my daughter is at UA for camp.

 

They are in full swing camp prep right now over at the dorm buildings.

 

Man I was fishing in smith lake this weekend. 150+feet deep boi. Was sketchy crossing the main channel.

I don't mind being in the yak in deep water, I just don't like fishing deep water in general so it would have done me no good. Remember, shallow waters with grass and structure is my go to

 

Me too. I’m honestly surprised I was able to fish points and rock ledges as well as I did.

But the shallows are about to be more scarce fishing territory with the heat moving in and staying.

 

No doubt, I may have actually missed the best time for kayak fishing on the lake. May have to start making trips down the paint rock and flint to enjoy the kayak

 

Yeah I’m forcing myself to start fishing deep. Learning everyday. Or just start night fishing.
