Yup it is annoying. However you might want to put actual mileage of the car in your CL add.

Also ya can’t really get too mad for someone offering above trade-in value and in the range of private party value for a Ford with almost 100k miles.

Edit just saw the mileage at the bottom of the add. Oops.

not willing to rip the air ride out yet. but if it sucks Ill buy springs. they are cheap. also might get sliders. lets just hope this focus sells.

Also need to make sure the timing belt and fluids have been changed on the lexus.

Yeah but that’s a dealer. I pay more to shop at target so I don’t have to deal with walmart. The same logic can be applied to private party Craigslists adds. Just being real with ya.

Can confirm. The air ride is nice. Mine is on (seems like) original suspension and rides like a Cadillac over bumps. Check the timing belt/fluids and if checks out ok, buy it. A bit more than I’d pay for a GX with 130k, but you can probably get them down.

Car fire just starting ahead on 6-lane suburban boulevard at a signal. Fire truck arriving. Fire in right lane, fire truck diagonal wrong way in center lane, everyone squeezing to left lane to get around at the signal.

I let some older woman in a white SUV in in front of me, waving her in. She gestures thanks.

Then I realize she has her fucking phone out and is trying to video the fire. Billowing yellow smoke, cannot see any flames yet, but it's right at the point where some shit could start exploding.

As soon as we are next to it, she SLOWS DOWN TO A FUCKING CRAWL TO FUCKING FILM IT, TRAPPING ME NEXT TO A BURNING FUCKING CAR.

I lean on my horn and I'm waving furiously to her to get the fuck out of the way. I'm only a moment or two away from pushing her. We get past it, I'm speeding away next to her, and shes's honking her horn and flipping me off.

This is how homicides fucking happen. Fucking serious gene pool moment.

This is about the third time in the last three months that something or someone has put me in grave danger.
