Jack

There is not enough clearance for the jack if you have a flat tire! Anybody else?

Where are you trying to put it?

 

Stock bottle jack can not lift the truck high enough if you put on larger tires / suspension lift.

I got one of these that lives in the truck now, works perfectly.

If you carry a small piece of 4x4 and place it between the jack and the frame, it's enough to lift them.

Are you stuck on the side of the road right now with a flat?

 

Stock jack works fine with a block or two of wood.

 

Pic of OPs truck 2 months ago has little tires on it. Guessing that running out of travel isn't the problem.

 

Maybe he means the jack when fully compressed literally can’t fit underneath his jack point.

Front or rear? If there’s not enough space the put the jack under the rear u bolt plate you could try under the axle or use the frame rail, if it’s a front flat tire and the jack doesn’t fit under the lower control arm you could maybe try using the frame rail? just try a different location than you’re trying, as long as it can support the weight of the truck.

I think he is saying there's not enough room to get the jack in place, not saying its not enough lift?

Limp the flat wheel onto a couple sheets of plywood, it should provide enough clearance.

Stock jack is a scary POS. One of the first things I replaced after using it to change a flat.
