oh man that blows...yeah the guy I had weld the bung and place the sensor for me had mentioned that you have to be extremely careful with drilling the hole...he said that for 2nd gen Tacoma's he recommends welding the bung/placing the sensor after the 1st cat otherwise you have to remove the headers to do it properly before the cat...also something about if you're not careful drilling the hole it will cause fragments to get sucked up into the headers which would be very bad news.

haha, no thanks...my brother had a turtle years ago because his girlfriend saw one for sale on the sidewalk in downtown LA for $5 and couldn't resist it...turns out the things live to be nearly 100 years old and he was stuck with it. He had to leave it behind at my dad's place when he moved out, and my dad figured he would do the turtle a favor and "release it back into the wild".....he lived near the desert. I doubt that turtle made it more than a few hours.

Without the Topcoat yes it will fade. The Topcoat holds up great. After 1 year in the Texas sun my bumper still looks great.

Dog is the least of it....seeing as how we're looking at having a kid in the next 1 - 2 years, I'm going to have to rethink quite a few things lol :(

timing, location and money permitting, I'm hoping I can make my truck my weekend warrior toy and get another more family-friendly camping trip vehicle. We'll see

Would love a 60s series Landcruiser (stopped making them with manual transmissions after that, boo)...but for a reliable family one that isn't brand new (don't have that kind of dough) I'd settle for an 80's series, before they started adding tons of luxury features to them.

In all reality though, probably looking at a Subaru or something along those lines when the time comes.

Probably a much better time to go than when we did....we didn't get all the way to the lakes because the trail was completely snowed in not too far past the 2nd campground where we ended up staying that night (our goal was to camp by the lakes). We even got snowed on at the base of the mountain that night.

Lifted over land Subaru, ive seen a few of those. Honestly the only way i would have a sti or evo is lifted like a rally car, i hate the stance thing everyone does with sti now.

Buttttt its a family car so leave it stock lol

Alternator went out in the truck over the weekend. I'm planning on doing the Big 3 at the same time of replacing it. Anybody know approximately how much wire I'm going to need? Cheers!
