WTB- 2nd Generation Tailgate. Hoping TW can come to my rescue yet again. Over the weekend I crushed my tailgate and am now on the hunt for one. If anyone has one or knows someone who does, please let me know. A white one would be awesome but I am willing to paint.

Somehow I missed this one as being in NE. These work for a second gen? Sorry for being ignorant, but do I need to adapt anything if I put these on a truck that is currently running 245/7516's?

The wheels will fit fine. You'll have to have the TPMS sensors programmed to the truck or just live with the light on. If you aren't lifted you're going to have a whole lot of rubbing with those 33" tall tires. Even if you are lifted, you might have a little trimming to clear up minor rubbing and may need a cab mount chop, but that's what you have to do to run 33s.

If you like the wheel style, you could pick them up and sell off the tires to recoup some of the cost. Then mount up some 265/70R17 tires. That's as big as you can go without a lift. You might get a little rub at full lock, but it's nothing to worry about.

The rims will fit fine. Without a lift, the tires may be too large

The plot thickens! The rims and TPMS sensors are over half of what I need - my steel OEM wheels are rusted out pretty badly. I still have the 10-year old rubber, which needs to be replaced, but I can do that WAY cheaper than RIMS and TPMS.

Pm'd, and thank you to all for your generous advice. Could I go with 245/70R17?

very interested, but there are only 4, correct? I have 16" wheels now.. wondering about options for a spare and having it useable... .. which means I would need a 255/85/16 on it? would there be (UCA or other) clearance issues with a standard spare rim and that tire?

I am doing CMC on Tuesday, already pounded my pinch welds and was waiting on tires to trim as needed.

how many miles are on these? and location?

That tire size would work. The stock 17" wheel size is 265/65R17.

Only 4. I'm not sure how many miles are on them. Maybe 8k. 255/80R17 and 255/85R16 are both listed as 32.8" on Cooper's website. 255's should be fine, as the Sport models come with 265's.

    I'm located in Woonsocket, RI.
