My panties won't be able to drop. They'll be too tightly wadded from having a new totally stock vehicle out there.

At least i hope to have a new one by then.

    Might even show up on...

Will there be any deep water/mud holes?

I have a deck plate mod, but do not want my motor to quench it's thirst... and I probably will not be getting a snerkle in the next couple weeks.

    Yes. And no.

Truthfully, we've never crossed anything to really warrant a snorkel. Even though, that is 100% NOT their intended use (water crossings). Provided it doesn't monsoon downpour like it did one trip last year, which it most likely will, the deepest we'll run into might be up to your wheel hubs.

But there was that one time at Rush Off Road when @beertimecontinuum and @mwc273 rampaged through their mud bog! :mudding:

    Bee tee dub...

I'll most likely take Friday off for this and show up Thursday night. We camping in the usual spot @MedlinAround?
Some of those spots we found a few weeks back were really nice as well

I got a bit of mud in my airbox at LBL. Not much, but enough I went snorkel.

I will be doing the same. Taking off Friday and driving down Thursday night. Does anyone have a route or coordinates for the camp site? Would be a big help.

I just wipe the mud out of the air box after LBL and that event usually falls in line with my 30k mile interval. So a filter change is needed anyway.
I'm not sure, but I think the cheaper $150 Amazon snork fits my truck. Asked a question on the product and got 4 contradicting answers o_O. JUST like this other website I go to....

ETA on Thursday night? If we camp in the 'normal' spot, you can follow me in from the gas station. Isn't too hard to find.
But, we caught wind that one road to get there was closed to wheelers.

Some Snorkel's actually were made for water crossings not just dust/debris!

    I'll bring a spare filter...

I'm also planning on Friday off as well, but I definitely need to make time to do a bunch of work on my truck lol.

I'm going to try to get off between 3-4 on Thursday. Looks like about 2.5 hrs to drive. Should be there at the gas station between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. what time were you thinking of getting down there and I'll try to match it.

Probably closer to 8 myself. Off work at 5, home 30 minutes later, hopefully leaving my castle by 6. I've got right at 2 hours drive time

Anyone arriving around noon Friday? I'll need to hitch a ride to the campsite from the gas station.

Wheelers kit. Bolts were cut down a little to make sure wouldn't hit frame at full compression. Think it's less than a year. No bumpstops. $60 i guess maybe?
