Your drivetrain angles are probably off.

Did you use 3% axle shims when you raised the rear and the carrier bearing drop kit? If not I would start with the carrier bearing drop kit and if that does not solve it get the axle shims.

This will be in the rear of the truck so your front should be good to go.

+1 on the carrier bearing drop, but automatically suggesting 3-degree (not percent) shims is not a good idea. Everyone's truck is different, and he needs to do the carrier bearing drop, and then actually measure the working angles of his u-joints, and then buy appropriate shims. If the shims are not accurate for his truck, they won't fix anything.

You are correct. It is degree, I am working and was in a hurry. You are also correct that he should measure his drive line angles and he might need 2.5 degree shims but the majority of these trucks are running around with 3 degree shims and they are fine. Good chance that's what he will end up needing.

Thanks for the help. will try order it right now. how do I measure the working angles of the u-joint? should I just go to the shop then asked them to do it for me? or should I try install the carrier bearing drop and see how it go?

You can youtube several ways to measure the drive line angles but I would start with the carrier bearing drop kit. You can achieve the same thing with grade 8 washers and bolts but I prefer to use the kit. It might be worth the while to use some washers to see if that solves the issue and then you can order the kit and install it whenever it arrives. The kit drops the carrier bearing 3/8 of an inch.

You should always replace U-Bolts whenever you take them off. They can stretch and get weak. On the link below you can choose the length you want. Keep in mind you want to add about a half inch to what you have now in case you need to add shims.

Measure the ones you have now and I would add an inch to that. You can always cut them off if they are to long.

Sounds like you may have a tire balance problem. With it not doing it till 50/55 mph, were they road force balanced? Try rotating them to se if vibration changes at all, any shake in steering wheel?

Had it balanced and aligned too, no Shake in steering wheel. I notice that driving from 50-55mph that the bed shakes in the driver side but not in the passenger side. might try to rotate it tomorrow morning.

From what I read here on the forum looks like time for an ecgs bushing . Will it disappear if you put it in 4wd? Of course drive straight no turns to prevent binding on your diff and damage it

Man you 3rd gen guys just can't accept how to fix a common issue can you. You need a carrier bearing drop and or axle shims. Basic lift items and drive-line geometry.

Because that doesn’t always work, each truck is different.

FYI, just because a shop say's they are balanced. Doesn't mean they are balanced. Many people have had problems including myself with balance issues. Best balance method is road force balance for a larger offroad tire. Also depends on whom balanced them, if machine has been calibrated. Like mention try rotating them, it's free to start with. Like you mentioned rear shakes, if you move to front and that shakes, bingo (tire balance issue) Didn't cost you a thing.
