Ok guys im a little stumped on this. I have a 2010 2wd tacoma with a what sounds like something loose on front drivers side of my truck. When driving if i hold the steering wheel strait at low speed i hear what sounds like a rpm related ticking or clucking noise which goes away when i turn left or right. On top of that when i go over a bump at speed it makes a sound like something is hella loose like washer clapping or something moving from a loose bolt. I have taken the wheel off and looked a couple times and cant see anything wrong. I have shaken the wheel when lifted up and it has no movement. I rotated the tire and it moves freely and it spins with no felt friction. Im at a loss if what it could be. Thought it might be a wheel bearing but the wheel has no movement and truck drives smooth with no adverse sounds that would make me think a bearing. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the fasteners on the front suspension (upper and lower control arms and shock mounts). If that's not it check bushings.

Also might check front diff mounts and steering rack bolts.

Check your sway bar end links. With the truck parked, rock the truck side to side and place you hand on the link and see if the noise stops.
