It’s funny that old people think they know everything because they have been alive longer but their .02 isn’t worth any more than my .02. They just complain more about problems in the cubicle they call life even though it’s more like a dirty trash bin.

Why do you need more space? Do you need the extra bed length for your wife to get forked on to the bed so you can take a Sunday drive? I hear people down south are...large people.

I am Pretty sure that the DCLB TRD OR, Cement, with premium has to be ordered for the most part. I have read through a few threads on here of a few guys that have them and they ordered them. They also referred to that exact truck as a unicorn because of how rare they are.

Naw, I need the extra space for all my stuff, being mid 50's we tend to do alot and take people with us. Here I am with a couple buddies getting ready to do our usual Sunday routine.
    20160724_094535.jpg 20160724_094525.jpg

Already have a truck with a useless little bed, no need to have two.
    20160416_091044.jpg

Got a car with a stick too, and it's supercharged, way more fun than stirring gears in a Taco.
    IMAG0361.jpg

As for being impressed with manual transmissions, we grew up when they were called "standard" transmissions, as in it was the transmission that was found in most trucks and we've been driving them since you were hopping nut to nut in your dad's beanbag. Just because you figured something out we've been doing for years doesnt make you special, in fact it hardly makes us blink. Welcome to learning what the rest of us already know.

I get it though, you're just pissed because we still own the world and make the rules and boner pills keep us banging hot women until its time for the big dirt nap.

As for my job, im civil service, working for the DOD after retiring from 22 years in the military, been around the world three times by the oceans and participated in two wars. Now even in my 50's I still get strapped backwards into a C-2 Greyhound and get shot off the deck of an aircraft carrier at sea 2-3 times a year. I still ride in helicopters to broken ships at sea a few times a year and still find plenty of time to spend it with the wife. I have a cubicle to find out where and what country I might be going to next. It's still pretty exciting the older I get. Maybe I'll slow down in my mid sixties, i havent decided yet.

Next month I'm looking at spending two weeks in Spain.

As for you, work on your smack talk kid, it's seriously lacking. When all you can do is make fun of me instead of bragging about what you're doing, you show a lack of confidence in what direction your choices are taking you.

I get it though, good smack talk comes with experience.

Driving a DCLB for the last 6 months now. There were 2-3 at local dealers that had 1 on the lot when I bought. If you use the Toyota website, and lie about your zip code, you can see what is available in other areas. Almost made a trip out of state so I could get it in quicksand, they had a bunch of them in TX.

FWIW I flat out said at the dealer I’m not getting anything but an OR LB so they drove a brand new one up from a few states away. Took the truck home with over 500 miles on it. So they are kinda unicorns where I’m at.
