10 min to add headlamps. 30 min to drop bumper. I say give yourself 2 hour buffer and all good

The 7440's bulbs plugged right in & good to go. I did take the rubber o-ring off the factory set & doubled them up on the Depo ones so they fit tighter where the plug turns & snaps in. Should help keep moisture out more. All the other bulb plugs fit nice & tight on mine. These look awesome & I really didn't want to do another BHLM in my new oven!!!

If anybody is interested in selling their factory OEM headlights with drl, I may be interested. Might finally be able to do BHLM with some OEM 's as back up. I want to retrofit the projector. Wondering if it'll be cheaper buying these as the back ups though?

    Edited
Made the impulse buy and got the depo lights :angrygirl:

I’m planning to sell mine. They will be brand new. I will be picking up my truck in 2 weeks and will be promptly switching these out.

Getting excited. Headlights should be here Friday. Already have truck parked in the garage. Would go ahead and pull the original lights but afraid my package might get delayed or I may need the truck for something first. That video for having oem DRL's makes it a simple swap.

I was told by them, after they shipped, to inspect them thoroughly before I install them. Can someone tell me exactly where the flaws were for previous buyers. I told them in my notes at purchase to only ship them AFTER they have ironed out their quality issues. I hope they inspected them again prior to shipping.

This video helped me with the bumper & grill section of the process. Keep in mind these are the OEMassive lights which I think are fugly but same process.

Dont stress man I had zero issues with mine. I think it was just one pair and they are working it out with them. I love my lights.890785DD-6495-48D0-A258-D8CE54AAA4B1.jpgB3A43C31-1E27-44EB-8F7A-FAEA90422D05.jpg

I should be getting my replacements by Friday. I plan on peeling back the protective wrap and using a flashlight to check the projectors for any blemishes like what I have on my passenger side before I clip the wires this time around.

Take a look at some of the close-ups I posted for a better idea.

The smudge on the driver side for mine though wasn't noticeable until I had installed it and turned them on. Not noticeable on that side if the bulb wasn't turned on... I wouldn't have mentioned it, but since they were sending me a replacement for the passenger side anyway I figured I'd bring it to their attention.

They sent me a video of them checking with an HID bulb but it was via MMS so video quality was too grainy to tell, but I'd think a room full of people purposefully looking for an issue would have spotted it if there was a problem.

The box is HUGE - why the costy ship price. Got mine they look exactly like stock but with the black out Pro version. Very good quality. Use the coupon then its cheaper.

Hey bro, you live in HI - so sandy beaches are a thing for you, we haole have to spend a bunch of coin to get to the beach.. just sayin. Gotta pay to play.

The drl wires go into the headlamp through a rubber grommet they dont have a harness plug. So i beleave he removed that grommet and entire mechanisom from wihin the headlamp itself then installed into new one.
