Still need to mount skids and new compressor... also have to put tent & fairing on, fridge and cooking setup in the back.
Just need a good day to knock it out.

 

Bolt my Sliders on, drawer system in the bed, request to leave work at 12 Friday. I’ve shouldn’t have drank my weekend away.

I still need to do my skids aswell.. Have to roll out and weld some flange nuts in place for the IFS skid.

 

Uh put gas in it and pack it up? Just gotta do a pre trip greasing, check tire pressure, check lbj bolts, check skid bolts, and put the fridge back in. Been super lazy, barely even washed it since last trip

 

Wow this trip is approaching faster than I thought... Hopefully I can still make it

 

What you need to get done?

 

Not gonna have skids and gotta reboot passenger CV, mainly just gotta sort my money problems out

 

Just take the scenic intermediate route and you should be straight. I would roll on this, but didn't even think about the timing with my truck being in the shop.

 

Is union springs really so hard that you need skids? Really am interested to see the terrain.

 

Is union springs the "advanced" trail at FPK? If it is, honestly most would be fine completely stock...when we went last I think the stock guys rubbed slightly on their stock front skid, but I would go for the advanced trail. Should have more than enough spots to coordinate it safely in a worst case event. FPK IMO is too casual to NEED skids although they are always nice.

 

It’s all easy stuff. Scenic, but easy. Mild lift and 31s will do the job for most if you have any time behind the wheel. Hell, it’s easy enough that I’ll be drinking the whole time and letting my female do the driving. She who has never driven my car either. If you’re fully build, it’s kind of hard to fuck up

 

Roadies are must on trail.

I was going to say, anything I have seen so far did not warrant needing them, so I was hoping the "more difficult" route was rougher than I expected.

 

From what I’ve seen it’s no Potts Mtn.

 

I still need to hit that...but yea not even close from what Potts sounds like.
