People seriously need to calm down. Everyone is so spoiled by Amazon bringing you whatever you want and it’s there tomorrow. Software doesn’t work like that. Development takes time.

Making claims you are receiving something lesser is ridiculous when you don’t even know what is contained in said files or what’s been changed. It’s very possible some things are just being accomplished via a new better way. But you don’t know. You aren’t getting screwed.

Matt has taken care of the community and gone above and beyond for people and they are still unhappy. We’ve all had a turn waiting so wait patiently. You will get taken care of and things are in a much better state now than in the beginning.

If you need a reference, look at @MOC221_ - he had every issue imaginable yet he stuck it out (with some complaining along the way lol) but those issues have been resolved through communication and useful feedback which has made a better product for everyone.

@OVTune - just wanted to say thanks for how quickly I received both my Registry file and my tune files - I'll be running out the rest of this tank of 87 and tuning 1.04 later this week. Good things come to those who wait. I appreciate all your hard work and innovation - really excited to try this out.

Mat, I've said it before and I'll say it again, though maybe in different words. I have followed this thread daily, even hourly since I joined TW in January. The high praise and excitement generated by your pretty damn awesome OVTune product (and yes, it's a continually improving work in progress) has been a pleasure to follow, and now, having finally ordered OVTune, I'm damn proud to be a part of the excitement. Yep, I'm 2/3 of the way through the dongleless process, just awaiting the final tune file and as excited and impatient as the next guy. But crap! You're in Hong Kong doing some very exciting development! You still find time to check in every day while the latest batch of us new enlistees are crying like babies who want their bottle! Dude, take whatever time you need. Whether it's a day, a week, or a month from now, I'm sure it'll be worth it. Please don't take to heart a couple of malcontents because they haven't received their tune yet or the TCU flash won't be included because it's update isn't yet ready. Whiners drive me up a f@#king wall! Like my wife taught me long ago, If I complain about not getting sex, I'm definitely not getting sex! Everybody CHILL, give Mat some space, and remember, after the tune our trucks are gonna be sooooo much better! Mat, I look forward to the tune, whenever it arrives!

Amen. Pretty sure hundreds have waited and experienced delays and initial setup woes but nearly every customer is very to extremely satisfied with the end result!

I hate to here @OVTune has had people leak test version feedback without giving him a chance to tweak. New shift patterns and the like take tinkering and testing to dial in so the couple of times I’ve been able to test I knew that going in and even asked for permission before sharing any feedback.

In any case, I’m optimistic about where the tune continues to go from here.

Thanks for the hard work Mat. Have a great Wednesday in the East

Lol its business guys. I guess Ill be considered a “whiner” but it all comes down to customer service. I know mat has his hands tied, I know he’s working his ass off over in Hong Kong and trying to please us at the same time. But paying $750 and waiting a month is hard to swallow. (No need to refer me to page 1) Especially when the comments such as files will be sent “few more hours” or “tomorrow when I wake up”. I know his company isn’t going to be like Amazon. I never expected that. I guess I expected to have a tune within a two week time period and maybe I’m ignorant for thinking that. But I definitely expect my purchase within in his timeframe when comments like that are made and hopefully he learns from that.

I’m pretty black and white.. I pay for something I expect to get what I paid for (just like everyone else) If it’s going to take longer than the expected time then I’ll happily continue to be that customer who ask for a status update on his order. If people have a problem with me asking they can kiss my ass.

Mat seems like a great guy that needs a little help and maybe a tuning company is something you want to do solo if your going to make any money idk. But an extra hand seems beneficial to take some heat off him. I’m fine with waiting but I’ll continue to ask for order updates until I receive my files and I think Mat should expect that. It’s buisness plain and simple.

So you had no idea you’d be waiting for the tune when you bought it?

Like I said maybe I’m ignorant for expecting that. My point this whole time is being a man of your word. You say your going to have files sent just follow through with it and stop giving false hope. That to much to ask?

I'm not going to reference page one but I'll remind you of this thread.

I waited for over four weeks and would do it again without question knowing Matt delivers a solid product.

How much of this thread have you read? Clearly you haven't put in the time to learn about the entire process, or you would have figured out a long time ago that "sending files today, or give me a few minutes" doesn't necessarily mean its a promise. Do you own and operate a small business? I do, and most times when things get pushed back, it is because of other things that pop up in your face that you have no control over. In Mat's case here, part of it has to be the forum posts and emails constantly asking "when are the files getting sent out?" Dude warned everyone multiple times that he's out of the country working and still people bug the hell out of him. Good for you Mat for going off the grid on weekends for a while too.

If someone is waiting on tune files or replies or whatever, go back and read the thread from the beginning while you wait. You'll learn a lot.

I’ve read a ton of good reviews and I believe them. I’m just asking for a realistic time frame instead living in the unkown. I’m like everyone else here buying his product. I’m frustated with the driveability of a 35k purchase. I like everything else about my truck and am anxiously waiting to make it enjoyable to drive.
