They really don't give you much info on that dash cam. Like price and does it mount on the GoPro mount? what's it take to wire it or does the dealership have to do that.

    $641, no thanks jeff.

...and no to the use of the go-pro mount.

Found it a little cheaper here:

Never did go anywhere today, but did krank the hell outa the Marshall kitchen bluetooth......."Kickstart" and "Too Fast For Love" were both dialed in.

Thanks for the tunes reminder !!!!

You, sir.....are living the good life.

    Much respect !!!!!

    Hells yes !!!!

I've done way worse on lunch breaks. You'll love having that yak.

    Sweet !!!!

Thanks again for the pro-tip !!!

The video will be mighty helpful when I get my speakers & soundproof material in. I did order the application roller, too.....figured I'd rather have it and not need it than the other way around.

Gonna be dialing up some great tunes in my truck very soon.

Katie Jo, you have one of the sweetest 3rd Gens I've ever seen !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for the links and instruction.

    Good stuff, lady.......good stuff.

Grining family pic is the greatest, man !!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have normally agreed with you.........but between her '18 white Rav4 and my '17 black Taco...........my Taco is way easier to maintain. I've had a number of black and white vehicles over the years....and these two are entirely different for some reason.

I can't stand her white color selection. Looks like a little refrigerator on wheels.......and shows everything.

    Her shiny wheels suck, too.

Wish I could rewind.......talk her into a black 4Runner and I'd grab the Quicksand Taco. No question about it. Zero.

Then again........I love my black Taco......maybe I can still talk her into trading in her refrigerator for a black 4Runner.......maybe.....

What kind of floor mats do you have? And would you buy then again? I’m taking out the pretty carpet mats soon.

Where did you buy? Any discount codes and such?

Maybe you can help me. I just installed their single compressor. Did you use their indash switch. I guessing that I need to trim it to fit the open slot on the left side lower panel. Also did you wire in the Blu-whit wire to an illumination wire (maybe the fuse box) or the red-yel to the ignition? Sure could use some help with those two connections. I’m thinking the best way is to use an add a fuse, but don’t know which fuses to tap into.

Nope. Originally talked to my regular dealer when I was at home (which wasn't helpful) and so I followed up with the local dealer where I am currently working and they have been super helpful, and not for the first time.

I'll ask for more details when I go in, but if I understood what they told me, it wires directly into something in the overhead console. Did not suggest that the GoPro mount was used.

Oh yeah.....it'll likely be a couple years before anything happens.

Most likely it'll be adding a convertible muscle car to the stable.

I fully agree with separating work from play.....especially when it comes to vehicles. Let's face it....we spend a buttload of time in our personal cars........always nice when they can reflect our interests and likes.

All bs aside......her Rav4 drives great and was a super car on a recent family vacation through some tough driving....ice storm on interstates that all but locked down traffic..........I opted to "head West" and beat the storm. Her nav system and other '18 TSS upgrades really helped make that decision a success. I came through that horrendous trip looking like a superhero. :)

Adaptive cruise control on an iced-down-slowed-down interstate is the tits.

Before I got my sPOD, I used a more OEM-looking switch from CH4x4 for my ARB compressor. A much better looking switch than what ARB supplied. Hope that helps!

Raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock at the moment.

I know of a couple mud holes just a couple mins drive from here.........

Be right back.....about to go get my Taco muddy. MAF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ran tan colored WeatherTech mats that matched the carpet on my last truck for the last 11 years.

They worked as advertised.....were easy to clean at the car wash and overall really helped my efforts to keep my carpet pristine after 11 years of daily driving and weekend hunt & fish truck.

Can't ask more of that after my son and I were in and out of it with muddy boots.

I haven't ordered anything yet for my 3rd Gen Tacoma because I wanted to get a more accurate account of what was available.

It seems the coverage amount of the WeatherTech can be improved with a Wade SureFit. It also appears the comfort level (softness) may be improved with another brand. Still searching.

    Thanks.

I got a tip from an instagrammer that Iron X would help make clean up easier. I'll have to remember that next time. Good thing QS is a light color so any scratches are hard to detect.

I wasted an hour and a half of my life at the dealership that I'll never get back. I went in for my 5K service. In addition to the tire rotation I asked them to change the lane change blinker from 3 blinks to 4 and to also disable the drivers and passengers seatbelt chime. The service manager said, "These are factory presets and cannot be changed." I told him that these options can indeed be changed and he either did not want to change them or didn't know how. I told him he was either lazy or incompetent. Either way, this was not what I expected from a manger of a service department and I will not bring my truck back.

So, anyone in Eastern North Carolina have a Carista that can make a few changes for me for a case of beer or their favorite bottle of liquor?
