Yes many times. Make sure you read the description & look as closely as possible at any pictures. If it doesn’t state appears new in the auction description then you’re stuck with it even if broken or missing parts.

I’ve had good luck but depending on when you go to pick up the item, it can take a long while to find your item & get through the checkout.

What's everyone doing this weekend? Saturday is looking like prime weather.
I'll be wiring up my solar panel, mounting the charge controller, and trying to get some prep completed for the trip. Fridge comes Monday, so I'll wire as much as I can for that as well. I'd like to mount the bluetooth speakers in the back as well. May even get ambitious and install the L track I plan to use for stove combo slide mount.

On a side note, I was able to find the time to smokes some butts last weekend, froze them, and a large vac bag of pork butt will be at RRG for all to enjoy. Bring your own bbq sauce if you like something different. I'll grab some buns and sauce for sharing and such.

 

Did 6 racks of ribs, chicken, wings, and some chops on the BGE.

Also a plethora of burgers.

This was last weekend to prep for the trip. I keep another smoker at the parent's house. Gives me something to do when I visit and they love bbq.

No rubs, just salt, pepper, and smoke. Did a mix of cherry and pecan woods. They tend to be my go to.

Anyone know of any places that can sand blast and powder coat or paint my OEM trailer hitch? I was just poking around under the truck and it has way more surface rust than I’d like to see and it would take me days to try to remove it all with a drill and wire wheel...

 

Won't take days to strip it. I stripped powder coat off my rear bumper using a 3m wheel from Walmart. They're black, look like a spider web kinda. Cost is about $12 iirc. Had the bumper stripped in 2 weekdays after work.
Mind you, I only did what I could reach easy on the inside around the gussets.

 

And that’s just the top of it... the bottom is worse.

 

New plates arrived. I figured after my first was totaled this was fitting.

 

Go to Walmart and buy the wheel I'm talking about. It will save your skin.


Actually, it will eat your skin. Don't do that lol
But it will strip all that crap off there and leave you a nice surface to paint

 

You can also get liquid rust removers like, Rust-Oleum Rust Stripper or Evapo-Rust Super Safe Rust Remover. Good for the hard to get to areas!
